Yea lol. I guess what matters more could be the tranquility of mind it brings rather than the actual benefits. An expected value type approach for how long it takes to earn back on investment could be easy, if I knew how much credits one make on loot on average lol

No one can really give you an estimate ROI. There are too many influencing factors, and the RNG is quite strong too. And there's also the market tendencies that keep lowering the value of absolutely everything.

All you need to know, is that one really shouldn't leave items take dust in his inventory, due to the market tendency I've stated, and that you should invest in stuff if you can afford it without sacrificing too much.

There are also a few players who will tell you that one will never get any profitable ROI as soon as you started playing this game. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)

QUOTE(Saioux @ Feb 5 2019, 03:13) *

So I guess 200% accuracy do make a difference as to choose balance over slaughter? I'm looking into legendary rapier and so far I've been limiting my search only to slaughter, but maybe I should consider balance as well.

If you'd like to borrow this [alt.hentaiverse.org] Legendary Shocking Rapier of Balance I'll loan it to you for free so you can test balance vs. slaughter. It's even nice and IW'd for you to prevent some parry too. It is a bit below your level though, and I just want to make sure if you did borrow it I'd get it back (it was my first ever legendary drop so it holds a special place in my heart). I used it for quite a long time, something like 250-320 or so.

That would actually be really appreciated. I can give you some deposit exceeding the worth of the item, even though nothing will be enough to compensate for the first legendary drop.

QUOTE(qr12345 @ Feb 6 2019, 03:50) *

Even a MHOH is better than PEOH.

I don't think so. A PEOH is very likely to be better than a MHOH, but worse than any LHOH.

QUOTE((H) @ Feb 6 2019, 05:20) *

Hello experts. I have a number of questions. I'm sure some might be easy to find answers, but 396 pages is a lot and the wiki can be a bit confusing (and outdated) at times.

QUOTE
Do Featherweight Charms give any benefit on Ethereal weapons? I assume no.

No.
QUOTE
Is there an optimal Spike Shield? Should I use one that benefits my weapon's strikes, or one that offers the most offensive or defensive status effects?

Fire. That's arctic is bit more popular. Go for the one that benefits your strike, don't need to be fire.
QUOTE
Why is Absorb bad? I am assuming it's a way to block big spell hits, but I keep seeing that Better Absorb is a waste of points. Is it just not worth while for reducing damage?

You spend one turn to cast it, and absorb only magic attacks for one turn. I don't see any use.
QUOTE
How should I maximize Overcharge? When should I be using OFC, skills, or Spirit Stance?

Are you 1h?
Keep Agility as low so your attack speed bonus is close to 0%. Don't cast haste if it's not needed.
Higher block chance.
Keep your SS on all the time if 1h. Use vital strike on SGs.
Use OFC when there is at least 5 monsters, otherwise it's a waste.
QUOTE
Is there an easy way to tell if gear is from pre-0.82?
Their level are unassigned
QUOTE
Is there a way to pause hover actions while channeling is up?

It's forbidden and might be considered botting. Don't you ever try...
QUOTE
Is there an optimal "debuff" rotation for melee when taking on boss monsters? I'm looking for ways to reduce total time taken for SG arenas.
Only imperil is considered necessary.
QUOTE
Linked to the previous question: does MagNet help with melee?

yea, only with RoB...
QUOTE
Is there a way to set up a "cast sequence"? I want to set up a way to cast all my buff spells with one button at the start of a battle, or use all the draughts in sequence.

Forbidden. You need to use them manually. The only exception is hoveraction.
QUOTE
How do I make Monsterbate wait for a Haste refresh?

I don't understand this question.
If you were referring to Alertbuffs, go to monsterbation line 23, and add haste.png. Then you will stop every time your haste is going to fade away.
QUOTE
How does one go about getting permanent up-time on Overcharge? Is it limited to 1H (with counter-attacks)?

Only 1h can keep SS permanently on.
QUOTE
For Adept Learner and Assimilator, is there a point where it's no longer worth while to train them?
For the people offering free IW10s for newbs, what do they get out of it? Isn't the exp and drop rate bad compared to Arenas?

No longer worthwhile? Never. Just diminishing marginal returns.
They don't gain anything except for constant clients. They've maxed their training they don't lose wealth they can cover their stamina expense by doing free IW if we don't take opportunity cost into account.
The drop rate isn't worse. It's actually better because IW has more monsters per round.

Accuracy only.

Isn't featherweight only reduce burden and interference???
so as ethereal weapon already have no burden and interference, it won't benefit from featherweight shard...
if you want to increase your accuracy, use voidseeker shard instead...

Check the equipment id - higher ids are newer. From the previous topic, the cutoff point for 0.82 is somewhere between 67141596 and 67181322.

Mage staff
Peerless Ethereal Oak staff of Heimdall / Magnificent Hallowed Oak staff of Heimdall. No, I don't recommend using either of those.

some more examples
You can have staves with willow: LDWD (my staff), or LTWD (wind) or LSDW (elec). You can have Redwoods: LARD (cold) or fire LFRD. And then katalox: LHKD (holy)

Mostly used for staffs, yes. Whenever I start talking about a PELS, everyone kinda ressembles this: (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
The most commonly used are LARD, LARN, LARE, LHOH, LDWD, LSWD, LTWD.

I didn't mean casting them all with a single press of a button. I mean casting them in sequence with repeated presses of the same button, similar to Strongest([, but in a set order rather than just which one isn't on cooldown.

Anything other than channeling is allowed. You can add draughts, and scrolls. Channeling is the only exception.
It's not like allowed or not. As much as I know, the coder had already removed this feature from monsterbation long ago because Tenboro asked him to do so. Adding channeling.png won't work anyway.

That's literally the same thing because you don't need to manually select a specific action, but rather one button does all for you.
A lot of people here, including me, had the same question. But no.
You can ask in the monsterbation thread for any question regarding monsterbation. Sorry I cannot give you the best answer.

So ... um, my friend is pretty sure it works - or worked! He turned it off before he had to leave the country and started a new life under a new name in mexico - you will never find him!

I posted the question in the Monsterbation thread.

Ok, thank you for all your help! I suppose I'll have to change some binds around, so that I don't go wasting channeling on magnet or something.

After I read this ancient thread from RoadShoe: https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?showt...er+of+snowflake
I can imagine that there are not many who have the "follower of snowflake" perk or plan to get it.

Some Uncle I don't want to mention by name just called it the "most worthless perk of all".

And yeah, it's probably not the most cost effecitve one. But to fully jugde it I would need to know how long it would take you to get a peerless out of it.

By now I have handed in 442,250 credits worth of trophies. Thats like 4,4% for the first peerless. So nope, not interesting for me at all yet. Even if it would only cost like 500 hath.

However, I just started december last year and a lot of you are not only veterans but also play more and faster ... so I can imagine there are some who are far above 10m? How long does it take you to make 10m in trophies?

Let the boasting begin (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
