I used to play DWD only for the trophies, at Hard, until my mage set became, well ... expensive. Works fine, just lacks a bit of EXP. But if it takes a lot of time to hack through the SG, you can better spend you time on the non-SG arena's at PFUDOR. Another option is to skip the 2nd SG arena altogether. That sucks a bit.

So the trophies drop are not affected by difficulty? Was your primary reason for sticking to hard difficulty to save time or not being able to complete harder difficulty?

Also, when I start to encounter school girls, should I kill other monsters first or just focus on SG and wait for other monsters to die out to counter-attacks? Right now my parry and block chance sucks so I have to kill others to survive, but I was wondering for when I build enough parry and block

yep, so if you want to keep things efficient, you have to do all arena at dawn reset, wait for 12 hours before next dawn, play the game every 30 minutes for 12 hours to do all 12 REs

Trophies drop are static. But I'd assume you'd want to still clears it at high difficulty for the Exp bonus anyway. Refer to wiki here:

For arena, higher difficulty is mostly for a potshot at some good gear, and experience

SG from my experience have garbage damage and sanity killing tankiness, kill them last. I play arena 2H, and they make my run miserable. On one hand, I never run out of OC, which is... exceptional for 2H, but on the other hand, that simply means I waste 20+ turns smashing their faces. HP/MP never runs out, as they deal no damage + draught overtime.

Yet another edit: Forgot to ask, but are you gaining enough token for daily spaghetti monster? Easy PFUDOR fight for good gear drop and ~40k worth of trophy drop.

Nope not even close. In fact, I only did my first FSM run just now. How do you earn five tokens a day?

What makes SG arena tricky for me is that it's kinda tricky to use OFC before SG shows up cuz too few monsters in each round, then after SG shows up, well, OFC doesn't kill them and since OFC drains OC it's better not to use OFC. At what difficulty are you playing SG arenas? I can actually clear the first one cuz of my level, and it kinda takes me around 25min at Nintendo. Maybe it will get better if I get some more gears - rn everything I have is like 170lv, and they are pre 0.82 garbos so they suck even for that level.

Tbh there is no real reason to make that fight harder as it should be. Just do it on a difficulty you are fine with and let it there.

As Uncle've said, I do arenas on Hell, but mostly because 2H can't push difficulty. AoE in exchange for almost nil survival, honestly I'm just hoping it'd work out somehow as it pales a lot comparing to 1H other than clear speed.

For SG, just kill everything else and start casting vital blow on OC. Remember to have heartseeker active and imperil.

Quick reminder that triple trio is 10 boss monster, so you might not wanna PFUDOR it

Also, token drop a lot from arenas. I gain ~5 token of blood a day, more or less.

Hmm maybe because I didn't unlock the last two arenas yet? I'm gonna assume higher chance of token drop from later arenas, cuz so far i barely got two of three tokens a day, and I run arena on nintendo and lower arenas on pfudor. To that extent, maybe I was really unlucky with token drops :/

Not really, if you really want some blood tokens you have to play more than just the arenas, when you do that, they will start to pile up. And no, tokenizer doesnt actually help with that, or at last not much.

I see. I mean at some point I'll try IW or grindfest, but not anytime soon I think. Too afraid XD

EDIT: Wow I should really get better gears because now I'm having trouble completing the arenas that used be a breeze

21 Stamina, Grindfest takes one additional stamina from you when you start it and i would say Hell is a good difficulty to start with. Of course just when you actually have at least some Crystarium Perks. Otherwhise i dont think all the effort would be worth it. I mean that is what is actually special about the Fest, the additional crystal drop chance and that every crystal drop gets a bonus the longer you acutally play. The max would be 50 Crystal per drop with max crystarium, at PFUDOR and after round 500.

It's more a matter if you do can survive it or not. I've started being able to clear PFFEST around Lvl365-370 for my part... ... with a lot of sweat. My first clears took around 2h30-3h00, which was quite unbearable.
So really, forget about it for now: that's not the difficulty you're looking for. You need to be able to clear IW100 without too much difficulty before starting to think about trying PFFEST.

When you want to grind much more than all arenas and don't care about great stamina (double exp at 80+ stamina)

If just using my data, my settings are for PFFEST full clear, loot perks: Crys5 Token2 LGBD

1. Remove my data except for the 1st sample (column A-I); if adding more data just copy paste rows 18-29 to the right with a blank column in between (K-S, etc)
2. (Paste the damage chart if you want; not necessary unless using the gfDmgAnalysis or such)
3. Leave the rows 18-29 alone except if you don't have Long Gone Before Daylight perk; if so change the /20 to /10 in cell A24 (to the left of Energy Drink)
4. For the following steps, either ensure that there isn't additional old data that isn't replaced after pasting (i.e. more rows with data from previous sample than new), or remove everything row 31 and below prior
5. For usages just make a temporary sheet or such and paste from the end combat screen "Regen: ...". Use Data->Text to Columns with delimiter ",". Cut the new data and Paste Special with Transpose. Then Data->Text to Columns again with delimiter colon ":". Paste the # usages starting at A31, and the names starting at B31. Fill down column C with formula from C29.
6. For loot, first clear column A in sheet gfTemp. Then go back to HV and select the loot (make sure to not include the round clear bonus) with click-and-drag and paste into a text editor like notepad to remove the buff icons you'll inevitably copy. Then copy the loot you get into sheet gfTemp's column A. Now copy the data from gfTemp's column B and C into gfProfit's column D and E. Fill down column F from F21.
7. For the rest, paste/fill out exp, turns, time as necessary. You can fill out the date with Ctrl-;

Monsterbation's console log or fiddling with the code could probably make it a whole lot simpler, but haven't gotten to doing that yet.

Additional notes for slightly more accuracy:
1. Change infusion name (or remove if you don't use)
2. Change prices / check average usage/losses in itemPriceUsages. Only some consumables have formula filled out for average usage/losses since it gets laggy for my computer when fill out too many; if you want you can copy paste to other rows

If anyone does decide to use it, would be nice if can share the data with me as well to check effectiveness of different settings / etc.

And what suffixes I needed if I use leather armor? Should i balance them or focus on one? (yes I'm poor, can't afford shade)

Pass by Decon's shop and auction and pick yourself up a set of Exq/Mag shade armor, maybe a legend here or there. Shouldn't cost more than ~100k-200k, which is ~5-10 precursor artifact.

Shade is a huge power boost due to 0 burden and ADB
