On wiki it says keep INT to 0.7*level, but do I really need to? I don't see the point of building INT.

Well, I'm still more a newbie then an expert, but for me (I'm 1h light ) int is just a cheap way to raise my spirit.
According to the wiki:
Every point invested in any attribute:
+0.2 Spirit Points
+1/600 Spirit Regen
Cheap because it seems that 10 points more of any stat increase the costs by roughly 40%.
For example with level 338 I have 387 dex +4 (thanks to snowflake) + 326 (thanks to equipment) = 717 dex.
That means 1 point more at the cost of ~144 million means an actual increase of 0,14% of my total dex. Still a small step, but not that much.
On the other hand I have 240 points of intelligence - what is slightly more then 70%. The next point would cost me 1.5m. For 144m points (the cost of one point of dex) I can get 45 points of intelligence instead of one point of dex - even at already more then 70%.
Of course the only gain would be Spirit and Spirit Regen, but as 1h I use spirit stance and spirit shield nearly 100% of the time - so that's still useful.
As my personal conclusion: If you lack spirit you might consider to raise int. If not then there really is no point in raising it as a meele.

At my level I can stay SS at all times if I don't use vital strike and use shield bash on occasions, still with 50% for SL and only when I mess up and die with SL I just use Spirit draught. You don't need all that int to stay on SS.

You are right, you dont need them. Imo a few spirit points are nice, but there is really no reason to pot more than just some left over xp into int. For a long time i just set 100 points into int and just let it there.

Hmmm... as I stopped using Haste and Shadow Veil (for extra counter attacks) I have actually quite a high usage of spirit draught. I used like 30 at aDwD on pfudor last time. I mean they are not expensive (I just bought 500 at WTS for 8kc) so I guess it's fine...

Yeah, of course, that is the spirit shield. Dont worry, this will get better when you improve your mitigations and unlock more levels of the Stronger Spirit ability. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

a quick reminder, each action on spirit stance consume 1 spirit. (I guess it's every action, but it might actually every turn tick)
it's not much, and yeah in most case you won't even notice it, but it'll be handy to have some than less.


and don't worry too much with having some point on stats that you think you don't need. As long as it's not close to your level.,it actually cost dirt cheap compared to your exp pool. even if you fked it up, you could always redistribute your stats or use a brand new persona.

Nicee. I should start using spirit shield. I heard somewhere it's not really useful until like lv 250 when I unlock decent amount of better spirit. It sounds really good at least for PFRE. Btw, that's a lot of DEX from equipment, I only have 80~100 PAB from my equipments (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)(

Also, is there any reason for OFC not going off? This killed me like five times on RE and it's pissing me off ugh.

Well, he is more than 100 level above you, so no suprise he has more than you. Dont worry those will come to you with level and better equipment. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

Any smart way to play HV on the phone? I tried a few times before but it took me about a thousand times longer to clear a single arena. Also, I can't seem to trigger RE on the phone. Any suggestion? I tried to find a virtual keyboard so I can at least enter commands but I also need the browser to work... didn't find anything useful (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

as for OFC, do you use it with Spirit Stance???
if yes, you need more than 200% Overcharge to use it...

Yep, SS with OFC wipes, but you need at least 210 OC if you activate OFC with SS. If you have less (205, ex.), SS reduces it to below 200, and OFC fails to activate

Oh, thanks. I guess that's the reason. It's misleading that I can activate OFC with SS below 210, but I can't use actually use it.

it happens for every OC skills. You need to pay for both the skill and the SS at the same turn, and if you can't pay the SS, the skill fails.

Apart from that, could anyone provide some insights into buying some equipment? I'm not looking for endgame gears, nor am I going to soulfuse them. Just something decent enough to get going.

I'm looking at The Evil's low-to-mid level stuff auction, and am trying to get either power of slaughter or power of protection/warding. The difference mitigation seems to be much less than the difference in damage, and I was wondering how much mitigation do I need for reliable survival.

right now my mitigations are around 60%, I do PF RE and Nintendo Arena. I die during RE if I get unlucky/too many enemies, Nintendo Arena is pretty easy, I tried IWBTH and it costs a lot of consumable and I don't feel safe. Also, if I die one out of five RE on PF, should I just to IWBTH level?

I think at low lv., you get more benefit from power of protection/warding than from slaughter...
when you can finish PF arena easily, you can start searching for power slaughter...
and yeah, if you still die at 1/5 PF RE, I would recommend to lower your difficulty first...
