Hello, I have some questions about training. 1. Some people advice against training AL; should I stop training it? 2. What are the priorities in training for me right now, up to what levels? I've included my training status below. Thank you!

Fast leveling up is also a successful strategy. Gear is much cheaper at lv500, and you will be able to make fast income. Just not from equip drops. So I say keep going. There are others that hate AL, because equip drops at low level have more value. There is no right way, just do what you like. I like race to lv500. Priority should be archeologist, though. That's prio 1. And then scavenger.

And i would say, train only when the cost still in a range of what you feel like not too hard to obtain. Otherhwise you could feel like that you just waste you credits, because something like scavenger really can take a while to pay off, even when they all do in the end.

Thank you! I guess I will keep level AL up. For Arch, do I level it up as much as I can or do I just go with scavenger after levelling it up once? And I guess I don't have to bother with Quartermaster and Luck of the Draw for now?
It'd be cool if I level up this to lv500 and slowly level up a second character; it's a shame we aren't allowed a second account :/

Great point! I mean I guess I'd level up arch for once, but for things like scavenger anything beyond 10,000 would be a bit too much for me as of now.

LvL 500 will take you a while believe me and after level 500 there are still the profs to max out.

Don't forget to train the Ability Boosts ! They are cheap and very useful, you should train enough to fill all the slotted abilities. At your level (196), having trained only 26 seems too low to me ... check your character_>abilities page, and if any slotted ability need more ability points, train them.

I recommend one to keep his AB training to roughly level/2. It's a very good balance.

Can you explain the difference between the income of someone at lvl 500 and below it ?

There's another point about cheaper lvl500 equipment for lvl500 characters that I never thought about until now. There's no reason to soulbound the equipment to get those few extra percentage points. It slows down the IW a bit, but well worth keeping the equipment trade-able without sacrificing it's abilities. An end game piece with outstanding percentages is still not an endgame piece if it's level 360 or whatever. A "meh" lvl500 piece will have better stats than that endgame lvl 360, so soulbound is necessary. And we all also know... that end game piece sometimes isn't when the next auction rolls around so trade ability is nice. As a member who tried his best to stay as low level as possible for as long as possible... Looking back, I declare it a mistake. Get to lvl500 as quickly as possible... while still maintaining a healthy increase in training for drops. That would be a difficult one for anyone to explain, due to a lvl500 has accumulated so many perks along the way. I look at it that a level 500 is just quicker to accumulate an equivalent drop amount as a lower level player. But it still depends on perks and training. Edit: oh... and a level 500 is more likely to do everything on PFUDOR. I even start my IWs on PFUDOR, and take the loss on the 3 levels for 2 shards. 6 out of 7 runs, you receive only 2 efficiencies, not 3. And I just wait for the roll to hit Jug2/Cap1 or vice-versa. And overall time, playstyle, stars, star selling, H@H, Awards, bounties. Level 500 is not really that much of an indicator of the income. This post has been edited by Uncle Stu: Jan 27 2019, 18:25

I'm paying this price now, I leveled 100~230 too fast now I don't really have AB to do my build. I'm still at 42... Could've done better if I had discovered HV Utils earlier.

exactly what i Think, you are not really faster at defeating monsters on max level, since the enemies are scaling with you, so racing to lvl 500 gives no benefits besides not having to fight over some equipments and no soulfusing.

Oh, i wouldnt say that. I mean when you have reached the 500, the chances that you have better equipment, that equipment better forged, more DD perks and so on does make a difference.

I've grown to really like lvl500, and I fought leveling up the entire trip. At Catgirl though, the fight was over. It was a head jerking back style skyrocketing trip at supersonic speed. It really was.

yes thats true but only if you " fought " your way up to that point and thus earning enough money for all that. But the talk was about training the exp amount higher and thus leveling faster, which should result in a less proficient way of earning money until u reach that max level and not having everything at the best state possible. but yeah of course u will have reached more fundings until u reached it, true.

QUOTE(~Shyboy @ Jan 27 2019, 17:47) Changed my build to Heavy/1h not power since I'm poor and relying on Self Drop mostly. Should I focus on one status or I'm good for now? Stats [ i.imgur.com] https://i.imgur.com/bk5aBdJ.png[ i.imgur.com] https://i.imgur.com/xKFKEg8.pngWell lets see. Hm, personally i would say a bit more End, if i was you, would make Str and End equal, and Dex around 10 higher than those two. Also when you dont have any problems surviving, you could reduce your agi to the point your attack speed is 0%. Tbh, i dont think those 2.2% would actually do a difference, but i could be wrong, so that decision is up to you. Does this help? edit: wow i just have notice for the first time how much burden does actually hit your crit chance. Because i did wonder why yours is so low until i did remember burden above 70% does that. This post has been edited by Uncle Stu: Jan 27 2019, 18:54

Thanks for the insight. So far I haven't had too much issue since I don't use weaken or slience on monsters yet, but yea I think I should definitely start investing into AB as well. Thanks! On the other hand, I tried to cancel my AL training to do an arch training, and now I can't train for 24h due to excessive refunds :/ lol I didn't know it existed because there's nothing like that listed on the wiki (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)( This post has been edited by Saioux: Jan 27 2019, 21:30
