50% come on. This is a exaggeration right? But when you wonder why so many people create giants, it is because they think, superior monster bring me more stuff. But in the end something like that doesnt exist. At least i couldnt see something like with all my monster to compare. When they are more or less the same age, they have more or less the same wins and the same kills.

Call it confirmation bias as you wish, but I launched an arena and the first round...
2 Mech/Pierce 2 Giant/Crushing
50% could be an exaggeration, but I don't think by any significant margin
At least giant seems mediocre to kill, the ones I hate more are the ones that dodge. I need more accuracy :/

Well, you that there can only me a limited number of different monste types per round do you? So it is no suprise to me that there are 2 giants and 2 mechanoids in that round.

did you read what Uncle wrote just before your post? QUOTE(Uncle Stu @ Jan 22 2019, 13:20) Well, you know that there can only me a limited number of different monster types per round do you?
It's really not uncommon to have just 2 types of monsters in a battle. 7 of 9 is not stange. Hey, 7 of 9 isn't that Startrek, that blond chick with the tight clothing and ass?

I remember way back when it seemed the monsters were all different per round. But now over the last couple of years, yeah... 2 or 3 types per round. It probably sped things up by reducing the time to randomly choose just 2 or 3 types of monsters while still limiting to 1 monster per owner per round. Probably makes things a little fairer between all the owners too. Well... Disclaimer... Unless that owner has all their monsters the same type. Then they only have a chance to bat if their monster type is chosen. Evenly distributed types, and the chance to bat is only limited by PL against the level of the one in battle.

Now that you mention it, it occurred to me that this feature stimulates a well-balanced monster lab. If you only have one type of monsters, you will get far less battle wins. Because a trainer can have only one of his/her monsters in a battle.

What is the best way to gain Forge exp?
Recently(!) I started to forge my gears, and now mainly due to forge lv (25...) I stopped it. For example, is forging some sup gears worth? or should I only forge Leg gears (and that's enough)?

In general, so just to gain forge exp in general, or do you mean the most cost efficient way?

Continue forging your main equipment (the whole set).

Well, that would be the more cost efficient way. Faster sort of cheaper would be to forge average equipment the first five level, salage and repeat. Of course you spend credits for the catalyst and dont get anything out of it except forge exp.

Always wondered if upgraded items (or with levels) are worth more than non upgraded if you sell them at the basar - but even if, it probably doesn't compensate the materials you get by salvaging them. Another thing I noticed and want to formulate as a questions to the experts: According to https://ehwiki.org/wiki/Monster_Lab the moral drain is reduced by 2x at the monster level of 250. My Monsters are between 208 and 257 and all have exactly the same moral drain. So some theories: 1. The wiki is not up to date 2. It doesn't stack with my gold club bonus 3. I misunderstood the wiki (unlikly because I lost the ability to delete them at 250) Any ideas? I would also be interested in some general input about raising monsters. Like desirable levels or good ways to get the levels up. I can't imagine how much it costs to bring them to lvl 2250 if you buy the crystals. But Grindfest wasn't really that effective for me to get crystals until now. At the moment I do better by completing arena battles and buying them for credits. But of course I do miss the perks - maybe that's the reason. Thanks in advance and best regards -hopkar This post has been edited by hopkar: Jan 23 2019, 21:26

Starting out as a novice, with some help I managed to (barely) make it to max forge all at once, by max forging 3 legendary equipments.
So I don't think the forge system is much of a wall, it only limits your forging if you have 2 or less equipments. You shouldn't need to try to improve your forge, just get more pieces to forge instead.

As if the monsters were winning enough to actually make a difference
