I remember few arenas always gives token on their last round but I can't remember them.

+ I'm lv 334 melee, one hand shield melee, not sure how to level up from here. Usually do the arena with hell or nintendo difficulty.

I have 90.4 interference, but that only calculates to you using +8.4% more mana than me in 1H style. It's significant but not the main thing. Effluent Ether (+10% MP) and Respendent Regeneration (+50% MP/SP regen) are bigger effects.

The key differences are probably my attack damage (more gems) and use of Haste (effectively increases MP by +50%). Although I use Shadow Veil sometimes, I don't use Spirit Shield (although I use Spark of Life and you don't).
You slot the IA skills but when the arena starts you cast them manually to turn off the IA. I have IA4 with Protection, Spark of Life, and Haste slotted. But I almost always cast Protection, Spark, and Haste manually, so my IA4 is mostly useless. I think this mana management strategy is another helping factor.

Hm, so less interference. EE and RR, or at least i understand your post as you having them. No use of SS and IA4. Yeah, that makes for quite some difference between us two. Btw i have just checked and after months i finaly got again a decreasing in mana upkeep for IA. It is now down to 1.43. Yeah. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

And now that you mention it i remember that about deactivating IA with casting it. But how do you actual benefit from that? I mean the IA upkeep is overall lower than the mana cost to cast them. So i dont understand why you even do that.

Well, all arenas have the chance to give you tokens as arena clear bonus. The more rounds the higher the chance for a token. And also everything you play in the game every single round, be it arena, iw, re or gf has a very small chance to give you a token drop.

What do you mean by level up from there? Just like you did before. And you can earn more credits my train the drop trainings aka Scavenger, Luck of the Draw, Quartermaster and Archaeologist. Increase your monsterlab by unlucking more slots. Play on a higher difficulty. Get the crystarium perk. And play more rounds overall. For more infos you should ask a bit more specific.

More credits? Well, play more. Especially the Schoolgirl arenas are profitable. For leveling up, and getting better equipment drops, you need to increase your difficulty. At your level, random encounters at Pfudor, and probably all arenas as well except schoolgirls. Play as high difficulty as you can.

Hardcasting your buff spells (Protection, Spark, etc) is for the purposes of triggering Channeling which is used for free Heartseeker and Regen. Also remember the Channel version lasts 50% longer so it's really an advantage if you receive it by luck.

Remember some high-level players like Basara Nekki doesn't even have Innate Arcana. And I was the same until very recently, because I did not think IA helps much. And after I bought IA4 (all at one time) I am almost never using it because I still prefer to gamble for Channeling.

However after I get two Channelings, I can start to use my IA4 and get some slight MP savings.

I'm just wondering if there is a database of the lotteries. It took me some time to go through every single page of the weapon lottery just to find exact matchs of today's drawing (there were only 2).

Some interesting things I found (there are so many so I just listed a few that I remember):
There are 6 PHOH exists.
The biggest pot is 2460k, second biggest pot is 1663k, and the smallest pot is 1.9k (weapon lottery).
There is one exquisite estoc in the early lotteries.
The biggest pot in which the prize is no longer available is 817k.
Only 5 pots went over 1000k tickets.
There is no shield in the first 2/3 of the weapon lottery.
There are only 25 force shields in the history of the weapon lottery.

Y'all probably already know these but it's the first time I go through every weapon lottery pages...

Hm, just checked. Yeah, class search doesnt seem to work. Neither for Undead nor for Celestial. *sigh* I can believe i actually say this. But i guess the best is you wait for decondelite to read your post. Because he is the one who takes the whole database over, this could have something to do with the changes.

So just for channeling? I mean i allways cast regen, hope for channeling when no channeling i just fight until enough overcharge to activate stance and cast hearseeker. Most of the time i get channeling at least after casting heartseeker. So you would actually save mana by casting the other spells. Hm. I am using IA now for such a long time i never actually thought about something like that to save mana. For me it was allways enough at least to wait for the save from the stance.

No database. Shields were added recently (last year somewhere? or is it longer ago?) so that's why so little shields. We requested it, we got it.

Is silence/sleep a standalone must have or should I combine it with weaken or other spells and not sacrifice them but spend some credits in Ability boost to get both?

the database search bundled with crunk juice lets you list all monsters of a certain class, by checking that class, clearing the "last scan" field and leaving all others blank

Well you have Gold Star which is +50% MP/SP regeneration more than me, also you have much higher level which should be increasing your MP and SP supply. Did you buy Resplendent Regeneration and Effluent Ether?

What's your mana cost modifier?

if you can do arenas on IWBTH, you should be able to do PFUDOR TT&T with just weaken or even without it. using silence and sleep is just the maximum reduction on incoming damage you can get: keep all monsters but one asleep by casting sleep on them before it expires and silence the one you're attacking

there are no shield on lottery until 0.85 (around mid 2017), and it wasn't always peerless and untradeable (soulfused) like today until... i don't remember, sometime after the unlimited potion use? so 2015 maybe?

that's some roundabout way to converse... a couple mana draught? or did it actually converse mana?
I mean casting protection+spark+haste+spirit shield (my IA) cost the same amount of casting heartseeker.
that's a pay up to roll the dice, you could try 4 times and you'll save whatever you haven't pay when succeed, else pay double scenario... that's a losing scenario, moreover since I found myself not in actual need of that +50% duration since I encounter more "I'll have channeling with no soon-to-run-out-buff to renew" condition than "I need to renew my heartseeker" condition.
I think it's better to cast the heartseeker and be done with it.

Then maybe I do something wrong, because for me it seems that RE is more difficult then arena. The reason is that the arena always starts with just a handful monster so I can start my buff orgy (Protect, Shadow Veil, Regen, Spark of Life, and so on). If I face like 10 Monsters in RE I don't really have the time for that. So I keep it to the (in my opinion) necessary. Means I fight a hord without all buffs and without overcharge.

Are you using 1h? If not, consider having 1h build just for easy RE, even more so if you have OFC. Once you get a good block chance it feels like it's impossible to die. I had used weaken for it in the past, but it really becomes irrelevant fast when you get better gear. Another thing is autocast spells. Not having defensive spells on autocast makes you waste turns in the beginning on RE, which might be why you struggle.

Do you use a dark or holy weapon, or do you use dark or holy infusions? Than go for it. But when you can play without the need of haste or SV, i would suggest leave it that way and just dont use them.
