QUOTE(DJNoni @ Jan 2 2019, 15:12) no, ethereal is really, really worthless. Buy my fully forged staff if you want to go dark mage, it's in my WTS.
Dude, don't try to sell your 30m staff so nonchalantly in an advice thread. The only reason i would go dark mage is that i got a peerless staff, nothing else. It's just that i remembered a guy here that used an ethereal holy staff with his holy mage, sapo84 iirc.

I just wonder why you had to ask in the first place. I did offer my condolences for a reason. QUOTE(Draw99Gray @ Jan 3 2019, 00:31) It's just that i remembered a guy here that used an ethereal holy staff with his holy mage, sapo84 iirc.
Btw, just because i can, i will mention again, that we allready had people who did play the game without any equipment. Just because someone does something, doesnt mean it is automaticly in any way recommended.

Someone should run the math comparing the damage output of DJNoni's LDWD compared to your PEWD. I would, except I don't play mage yet so I would probably be an idiot and do it wrong. Your other equipment would probably influence the results so it might not be such an easy comparison though.

I wondering how actually people use VS on SG arena... currently I just use OFC as I think VS is need more attention than OFC... some people told me that using VS is faster that using OFC... I thought it because with VS you could keep the perma-stance... but when I tried it, it still needs some period to charge the OC when the spirit stance is off... if that the case, isn't it the same with OFC??? or did I mess up in somewhere???

A mediocre matching magnificent is better than a non matching peerless. Forget about that thing. This post has been edited by qr12345: Jan 3 2019, 10:30

Keep other monsters alive so you get OC from counters, unless you prefer to hover on SGs with normal stance. OFC is unnecessary, and it does little damage to SGs. And other monsters would always die due to counters before you kill SGs. This post has been edited by -vincento-: Jan 3 2019, 11:32

do you mean I should only use VS on SGs and never use normal attack on it??? because when I use VS and after that focus on SGs, most monster still healthy enough... I could try it later but I doubt my latency will allow it smoothly... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

There is no way you don't normal attack on SGs... Usually normal monsters would die to counters before you kill all three SGs. The OFC does not even burn SGs other than KOTANA 50% health, but they kill all normal monsters. Then you would end up hovering on SGs with normal stance because you don't have any OC If you have trouble surviving or you are sparking too many times in the last 30 DWD rounds, just kill a few. During the days as melees, I spark a few times in the last rounds, that I need to kill 2~3monsters to make sure I don't cure too much. But keeping monsters other than SGs alive gives you the most overcharge so you can cast Vital Strikes as frequently as possible.

hmm... when I tried it again in End of Days arena, most monster still alive when the SGs dead and I need to kill them individually... maybe because my block is too low??? but when I took a glance, most of them are stunned...
I'll try it again tomorrow in DwD arena to see if it got different result...

Hi, I'm pretty new at HentaiVerse and normally play in NINTENDO Difficulty - which works quite fine for me. However, I defeated the FSM today and TT&T would be next. At the Advice page in the Wiki (https://ehwiki.org/wiki/HentaiVerse_Advice) I've read "Consider TT&T only if you are capable of beating it at PFUDOR difficulty." and now I'm wondering why. Anyone knows the reason? I want to be honest: I don't think I stand a chance at PFUDOR (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Thanks in advance - hopkar

Well if you ask me, this advice is bullshit. If you can beat it on Nintendo i say beat it on nintendo. I never got even a single good drop from FSM or TT&T, so if PFUDOR is danger to play for you, i can assure you it doesnt offer anything to you that would be actually worth the risk. So, no reason at all imo. I cant even understand why someone would even give such advice. But i never did made any guide, i prefer spending my time here answering questions to those who ask them directly. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) Btw after the clear bonus of the first time. TT&T does imo offer nothing that would be worth 10 tokens, so i would also suggest you should spend your blood tokens in the future to Konata for chaos tokens and or the FSM. the idea is that PFUDOR is the only difficulty that has a reasonable chance to give a worthwhile clear bonus equipment drop, so lower difficulties are a less effective use of tokens. there's nothing wrong with clearing it once on a lower difficulty for the credits, but if you want to clear it repeatedly in the future, i would wait until you can do so on PFUDOR (this is quite easy if you use silence and sleep), or save your tokens for FSM and/or konata

And did you ever get something from them that was worth more than a HGW or HGC?

possibly, i don't keep records of that sort of thing. but i've gotten HGW and HGC and that's already worth it (if you have more tokens than you can spend on FSM alone)

Wow, thanks for all the fast answers! I think I will try my luck with Nintendo as soon as I can and onced cleared switch back to FSM until I feel like beating it in higher difficulty. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) QUOTE if you had better gear you might be able to do IWBTH, feel free to ask about it, is your weapon hollowforged? My gear is mainly magnificent and exquisite. Only my Weapon is of superior quality. It is however ethereal and because I've found it pretty early in the game I soulfused it. I try to add a picture to this post. I think I'm doing fine, so there is no real need for donations, but thank you anyway. Greetings - hopkar This post has been edited by hopkar: Jan 3 2019, 21:17

For you and me sure it is, but i wouldnt say that it would be worth it if it was as hard as it would be for someone who is just used to play everything on Nintendo. QUOTE(hopkar @ Jan 3 2019, 20:08) Only my Weapon is of superior quality. It is however ethereal and because I've found it pretty early in the game I soulfused it.
An superior ethereal axe? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) You really should switch it. I mean i would even suggest a shortsword long before i would suggest to use an ethereal axe. I mean why an axe? I cant see it. And ethereal is really just something for DW. For 1H it is nothing but suboptimal. This post has been edited by Uncle Stu: Jan 3 2019, 21:14

QUOTE(hopkar @ Jan 3 2019, 19:08) -snip- Axes are completely unfit to play 1H, due to the lack of parry. Use a rapier, a shortsword or a wakizashi for that playstyle.

Because I've found it (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) That's all. No special reason. It's just the best weapon I have found by now. Ok, normally I change all my Artifatcs (but one of each kind of course) at the shrine for light armor. I will change that and try to get a better one hand weapon.
