It make takes from nothing up to 24 hours. IIRC, you also have to visit some page (maybe the Perk or some other, I'm not sure which one) to trigger the update.

I guess he meant that, it's just either he misunderstand it, express it in a confusing way, or maybe some mix-up between leg tier block percentage ranges and actual block chance percentage from equip - since I doubt there's any actual 70% block chance shield out there and he compare 60% and 70%.

Yep, I think your explanation might be more accurate, I just didn't knew that shield block doesn't cap (because shielding gear block and ability block does)

did something happened that resulted all the profs to be at minimum of 284?

and I'm just 1% under Uncle stu's, and guess what, my 34 level difference which in actuality more EXP difference than any EXP I ever earned playing this far, translated to a number lower than the difference from those greshnick's shield would give.

But getting from 68 to 69 is much harder as getting from lets say 48 to 49. And those percentage from 48 to 49 makes also a bigger difference as that from 68 to 69. So comparing those isnt the best idea.

yeah, my original plan is to use the SDE shield until I got better SDE shield...
I already saw an end game shield in WTS with 97% block and SDE PABs (prefixes and suffixes not really matter for shield right???) which under Lv. 400...
it just that currently the price is to high for me...
thats why I forged my SDE shield to my forge lv. limit with mats from my previous DE Mag force shield + a little more that I bought...
but just slightly after I finish my forging spree, the SEA shield was dropped...

so advice from some people to use the current SDE is the same with my original plans...
but after checking past advice and some reasoning from Uncle I got slightly tilted to use the SEA...
(though the advice to salvage was slightly shocked me, lol... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) )

anyway, I can only make decision when I got my shield back from IW service...

And just to echo the Uncle above, 1% extra block from 50%-51% results in being hit by 2% less (ignoring monster counter-block) whereas 1% extra block from 75%-76% results in being hit by 4% less. I think that's the rationale behind multiplicative effect of additional shield which means each additional blocking equipment contributes the approximate benefit to decreasing the chance of getting hit (though counter-block does make it so that more block is not as efficient).

If you play mage, LGBD is very nice!

I have FoN, it's useful, but no priority.

Of the three listed:
1. DDII
2. CV
3. TIII
But only if you play PFFESTS. Else, 2 and 3 make no sense. And then if you play PFFEST, you want LGBD first!

Token III, Crys V, DD II and that order. Why Token first? Easy, because you cant buy Chaos Tokens and it will take you long enough to unlock all those slots. Why Crys before DD? Easy, because Crys will increase your income while DD II will just increase your damage. Depending on what style you play and how much damage you have to beginnn with, it will make nearly no difference by what you can archieve while playing the same time as before.

Do you use ED? Get it asap. Dont you use ED? Just forget this perk does even exist.

If you play mage, LGBD is very nice!

Even for a mage this perk is nothing but a waste of hath if one doesnt use ED. And i am sure as sure we have mages out there who dont use ED. I mean come on, we allready had people who did play the game naked.

As for the others you mentioned: Long Gone Before Daylight is a must if you need to IW / Grindfest hard.

Well, this has been a while ago and i allways forget what his name was. But i thought it is a good example for what weird way to play the game are actually out there to prove my point that been a mage is not equal to LGBD is a good perk for you.

Yes, a GS gives you all the cookies. Iirc even all future ones without even participating in the lottery.
