and I don't know how deep you're in this mage hell, but it's all in or die trying here, a half-assed try out wouldn't give you something favorable.

unfortunately non-forged fully iw-ed set wouldn't be able to comfortably stand in front of most late pf arena, and believe me the non sg one are worse than the sg one. at the very least forge your proficiency to close to the already established necessary proficiency per advanced advice wiki... oh wait, holy is 1.0.. derp...

charged is close to a necessity if you wants to play GF, it's the haste for 1h around lvl 250-350 - useful for survivability but might be dismiss-able if you feel confident with your defense already - in mage case, if you're confident with your cannon size already.

Holy is very expensive to get it going right. If you must, first step is to find a staff. But if you can find a good dark staff, or wind, or elec, choose that and sell your heimdalls - that's my advice in case you are not super-rich.

Okay, so find a staff. Then, play imperil style, those shoes are enough for that. But they need to be fully forged on prof.
Then with imperil, you will find you need charged gear. Get that.

If you go dark, I have some nice imperil-play gear for sale, basically for free + forge costs. If anything, that would give you an idea of how much credits you would need to get imperil-style going. Non-imperil is far more expensive.

My piece of advice: don't "try out" to go mage. Do it seriously and invest a lot in forging.
Be sure about what to do before you do it.

Jug25 and Forge 10 everything (20 for the staff's MDB) is the very, very minimum to do something.
Forget anything that isn't charged for now, unless it's Peerless. Get yourself either a charged cotton cap or charged cotton shoes.
And use a second charged cotton somewhere else (I'd suggest gloves or pants) until you have very heavily forged your staff's and your cap/shoes proficiency.

So, I remember like 8-9 years back when I used to run H@H I'd get 3-4 hath per day.
I'm getting 72 hath per day now (and I swear it's going up bit by bit every day, it was at 60 not that long ago).

Is this just hath inflation? I honestly don't remember how many credits 1 hath was worth back then.

Also, could it be due to the golden star/cookies somehow? I don't think it affects H@H gains but, the fuck do I know...

Well, i cant be absolute sure, because i never did any H@H. But i remember people who did about it in a way that there can be differences in what you get per day and that it at least can increase over time. How this exacly works? No idea. Your gold star and cookies give you hath every day., 1 each iirc. And h@h earnings depends on the size of the archive on your drive. When it builds up towards full use you get more and more harh

It used to be ~10k and possibly more so yes, don't expect it to grow (except temporary spikes after perk updates)

As I'm low on credits because of loving galleries too much and have couple of such items so now possible 120k would be very appreciated by me. In addition to the above, I suggest buying gallery points with credits, as you can use those instead of credits for downloads and they are cheaper. Also sign up for lottery so you ca get a award of 1 hath a day you can sell for 4k credits. Or save for Hath perks.

You can recoup, but your forged shield is Strength Dex and Endurance. I suggest just using the forged and not forging further until you find a 85%+ SDE then salvage or sell your shield to get mats for new shield. You only really need 60% block chance in your stat screen to do arenas comfortably.

You could always calculate the forge cost and add it to your minimum expectation for the equip (if you have any) then put it as a minimum bid.
or ask the auctioneer to add info on the forging cost - super usually add (forged x) for forged equip, don't know if he would (or able to) add extra info on the money spent to forge the said equip.

Salage the forged one. And use the other. From 38 to 81 is imo just too much improvement not to use the higher block one, even when it means to switch SDA for SDE. I mean i did quite a similiar change once and i never regret it. Even when i of course did switch my SDA for a higher block SDE later on. And of course i did allways salvage my old gear. And no, that it isnt soulbound dont mean shit imo. It is not as if you would that much credits just for those few upgrades anyway and the only person who would in the end actually benefit is the person who will buy the stuff from you need to forge your new shield.

They're rouphly the same, so it depends on your stats (after certain thresholds you get lesser effects, for example at 60% total block you get ~60% effective block, but at 70% you get around ~62%)

well, if the unforged one is SDA, I won't hesitate this much...
but this is a SEA one, so the higher block chance is compensated by lower parry...
with the forged one my block and parry are 59,1% & 49,3%
with the unforged one my block and parry are 49,4% & 47,3%...
though its affected by forging, so I am unsure what happen when both has the same lv. of forging...
