As far as I know, PXP0 is the sum of the base values of all attributes of the equipment (do not ask me how exactly this sum is; nobody knows (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) ). Thus, the greater the value of PXP0 means that the base values of the attributes are good (in general, or most of them).

This is just a personal preference. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) I made the list of elements in that order only based on the current values of how much I have mitigation for each element, not counting the current Armor. With this I aim to have balanced mitigation values among the elements.

I usually prefer it, too. But my situation is as follows.

With the current Armor:
58.8% fire
47.6% cold
44.1% elec
46.7% wind
38.0% holy
44.4% dark

Unequipping this slot:
53.2% fire
16.0% cold
44.1% elec
46.7% wind
38.0% holy
39.5% dark

If my future Armor Slaughter is a Cobalt, I can do an IW with Jug + Holy + Dark to balance everything. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

You mean jugg5? I just ask because most of the time i am allready happy to get even that no matter what sort of prof does also appear. Well, except cap. I reforge right away when a cap appears. And i only keep my Jugg5cap5 helmet so i can use it to flip of mages. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)

No, it is based upon the types of attacks that did kill me in the last 18 months. Why would i care about an element that is never actually a threat to me? That wouldnt really makes any sense to me. And because most of those attacks that killed me -and i am talking about over 96%- were either fire or holy and 100% magic, i of course care more about protection from such attacks as from other attacks.

But really, who is affraid of bosses? I cant even remember if i ever was killed by a boss monster. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Zircon and Ruby prefixes are generally better, due to them being useful to mitigate celestials and dragonkins respectively. Then there is Dark for some daimons and undeads, but it's less of an issue.

For my part, I just won't care that much, since the benefits of elemental mitigations is very marginal. So I just go with anything that fits the "background" I want to have.

It's technically impossible to reach 100% mitigation in any category. Not because of any hard cap, but because no equipment can reach 100% by itself, as reaching 100% on a single equipment is basically the only way to reach 100%, due to the fact that all equipments mitigations act as layers.

In practice, I think it's fairly possible to reach 90% for a given element, with the help of max forge two prefixes of that element. But it's rather useless.

No and imo element mitigations are nice to reduce overall damage. But in the end i suggest to concentrade on PM and MM. In the end they cover much more attacks and by that are much more important.

The (theoretical) highest you can get ONE element to through armor is around 93%. Even with enchantment and infusions you shouldn't be able to go above 97%.

yes, many data. Sssss2 has a very strong holy build and has posted his time/turn here before. I think it was:
- no gum/vase: 5000 turns or so
- gum +vase: 2500 turns or so

I do it in 6500-7000 turns with my dark on average, without gum/vase. But I often use gum or vase, then it is about 5500-6000. And time, 35-40 min with gum/vase. Sssss2 can do it in 20min, though. Does cost a fortune, though.
