QUOTE(Greshnik @ Dec 1 2018, 04:42) *

thank you for your advices...
for future reference when I get better equipment, what should I do when faced the same situation (Jug3 with two potencies left)???
should I reforge or it just better to gamble???

Well if you actually want Jugg5 in that case you should just give it a try as long as it is still possible.

QUOTE(billgates2114 @ Dec 1 2018, 05:22) *

Sorry for asking silly questions
I am now lv130
For IWBTH I sometimes one-turn-killed by the monsters, but sometimes I passed the whole level.......
Should I still try IWBTH for better equipment or just play nightmare or hard, and buy the equipment for the others?
I do not know when I should go into more difficult levels...........

Hm, i would suggest to upgrade your equipment in the forge. The first five level are cheap and they can make the difference and your case. Just dont do higher difficulty in sake for equipment, because even at PFUDOR with all trainings on max, you dont get that much really good equipment, so i would say if you play on lower difficulty you dont miss out that much.

Does it take some time for the hath perks related to Hentaiverse to activate? I just bought Vigorous Vitality and the Ether hath perks and didn't see any change to my vitals.

Yes, they do sometimes. Just waite a while they will activate dont worry. And if you had ask, i wouldt suggest to get Effluent Ether. It is just not worth it imo.

Thank you for the explanation. I mostly use melee and power armor along with a lot of support magic, so it's not too much of a loss.

I'm hoping to eventually get the snowflake hath perk. With how I am now, I'm not really able to get any peerless or better legendary level equipment.

Although, on that note, are the tokenizer and crystal perks beneficial to purchase in the future?

Imo 500 wasted hath.

Follower of Snowflake? But you know that this cost 50k right? And you have to invest quite a few trophies.

Yo dont even know the rules for peerls to drop do you? A peerl dont care for your level. A peerl does not care about your training, your awards, or stars. It does not even care about the difficulty you are playing. Every single equipment that drops for you has a astronomical chance to be a peerl. Alltogether i got four of them. And i dont mean this months, or this year. I mean four alltogether. And it took me nearly seven years for my first Leg power armor of slaughter pieces to drop. And iirc this year dropped a single piece of equipment someoneelse actually wanted to buy. One. And even Follower of Snowflake does not mean you get great drops. First they are soulbound, so no chance for that perk ever to pay of. Second, lets say you want a peerl force shield, not impossibleaux. But my guess is you would on your first try just get a kite. The second would be a buckler and third would again be a kite, the fourth would be a Force, but SDA. Yay right? So if you are not a really, really, really rich hath baron or something similiar, i really suggest to forget that the Follower of Snowflake Perk does even exist, because sure as sure you wont be happy with it.

QUOTE(hentailover6983 @ Dec 2 2018, 16:43) *

Oh, yeah. They do. Tokenizer does really increase your token drops and makes it so much easier to open more monsterslots and increase your income. And imo Crystarium are after the tokenizer perks those the best pay off of all the perks. If you have the hath, or the money to buy the hath, get them as fast as you can. They are so worth it. Okay, tbh not sure about tokenizer III because i dont have it, but i guess it is also worth it.

I'm assuming that comment is for melee only? As mage EE seems pretty useful. Now the spirit one, that truly is useless for everyone XD

Edit: Huh, I double-posted somehow... Apologies.

Now that I got a spot, though, might as well use it for a question. For imperil wind mage, is robe a decent slot for cloth, or does that lose too much EBD?

Hm, not sure. It may seem to be useful. Can a mage player confirm that EE is actually worth it as mage player?

It increases base mana, which in effect reduce the relative costs of spells to pots/droughts.

So I've got this question: how does one play a 1h mage build? What difference is there between 1h mage and the 'usual' 1h heavy build? I'm thinking about trying out mage(currently using 1h) but I'm not sure how to begin.

About what? The fact that it increases base mana? The fact that draughts/pots recover a percentage of base mana? Or the fact that spell costs are not affected by base mana?

That really depends on whether you are serious about going mage in the future. If you are not planning to go mage soon, then I'd advice getting a legendary fiery (or arctic) wakizashi of battlecaster (or nimble) and a buckler of barrier (or battlecaster, if you went nimble waki). And then get 1-2 cottons of elementalists and 3-4 phases of surtr (or niflheim). For cottons, frugal legendary is preferred, but any legendary with decent proficiency will do. For phases, either legendary or radiant magnificents would work (legendary is better for survival, high-roll radiant mag with 3 PABs will have a bit more firepower). Then you just make sure you have all the imperil abilities maxed and set up a script in a way that makes imperil -> spells on monsters easy.

If you are planning to go mage, then you should really decide on an element first and then build for mage. All you would need for 1h mage from that mage baseline is to just buy an appropriate waki/buckler.

But EE doesnt change Base Mana. Afaik it is just a bonus to the base mana just like VV to base Health, or did this also change in one of the updates and i am just not aware of it?

appropriate waki/buckler.

A waki? Really? Is it because the parry?

Oh, interesting... Apologies if I'm wrong there - I had thought it was increasing the base mana rather than just adding to total mana! If it's just a bonus of 10% base mana, then yes, it is considerably less useful.

Yeah, waki for the higher parry. I can see rapiers also work, but it would be strictly worse than waki of similar rolls, since only physical damage for 1h mage (other than OFC) is from counters.

I like battlecaster for 1h. Mainly because of the name. But both work. So battlecaster is far superior because much cooler.

Shield has more effect on defense/mana conservation/magic accuracy than waki. So comparing battlecaster waki+barrier buckler to nimble waki + battlecaster buckler, I'd think the former has more defence at the cost of higher mana cost/lower accuracy. Probably fairly comparable - I'd think battlecaster waki+barrier buckler is better since mana isn't that big an issue on 1h mage (and higher defense will reduce mana usage on heals).

QUOTE(Tenboro @ Jul 26 2015, 03:09) *

- Vigorous Vitality, Effluent Ether and Suffusive Spirit now increase the corresponding base vital by 10% instead of increasing the maximum vital by 25%. This makes them more useful since they now affect regeneration instead of just providing a bigger tank. It also increases the potential for HP/MP tank, so the effective max values will in many cases increase.
