am i doing something wrong...
y does using OFC seem slower than just normal hitting with spirit stance on and not using OFC at all
am i doing something wrong? or at later level the charges refill much quicker
anyone help me with what are the basic requirements for
doing 20x difficulty for onehand shield user?
im lv 200~
equips are super~mag power balance/protect/slaughter
should i start enchanting???
i think i can make enchant at least lv5...over lv5 too much for noob like me...

hm...what do melee type use for ether tap ability???

The idea of using OFC is having one burst damage where you could clear one round in one turn (or at least leaving only a couple of monsters alive with little to no health) instead of spending like 40 turns smacking them one by one.
In my case (or maybe even most) it's rolled between 2-3 round, build overcharge, activate spirit stance, use the OFC when there's 4~5 enemies or mote, smack the rest when there's still any exist, return to build up spirit while waiting for OFC cooldown, repeat forever.
And in this context I'm talking about 7~10 enemies/round on grindfest, not 3-4 enemies/round on arenas.

And yeah, it's not that much different or maybe even slower if you use it on low level arenas where there's only 3~4 enemies each round, as 3~4 enemies is only about... idk depends on each person performance, but I guess 10~15 turn to clear compared to 30 action+ when there's like 7~10 enemies, so keeping the spirit stance might be better than spending them on ofc to kill mere 3 enemies.

The overcharge refill is stay the same whether you're lvl 1 or lvl 500, 5~10 point per hit (each ball represent 25 points), but 1h could do up to 3 counters/ action, so that's could be 4 hits for 20~40 overcharge/action. for a reference each attack on spirit stance cost 10 overcharge, OFC cost 200 overcharge,

as I said before people would usually able to play on GF around lvl 300. 270-280 for earliest, 250 on long round arena is pushing it, if you really wants it as fast as possible, get a good block (30+ base block) and use light instead of heavy, you'll lose attack power and clear things slower but gain more survivability from the extra evade and resist, I believe you could do random encounter on PF using 1h heavy as early as lvl 200.

what do you mean ether tap on melee? it's exclusive to staff wielder.
use mana draught/potion to regen mp, don't waste your time using drain.

for lv500
that mag~legend
that has adb 90%~99%
should i buy it? for future?
if so could you tell me what options are important
weapon = adb and mayb parry?

shield = block% and?

power heavy equip = adb and?

if you don't know how to distinguish good equipment or not, please don't.
lvl 200-300 is fast, but 300 to 400 will take months, not to mention the soul fragments needed to soulfuse it.
chance you'll get something better or at least close to what it is on the time when you able to soulfuse it.
also, if you start buying every axe with 90%+ pab from bazaar, you'll ended up with like a dozen of if by the time you reach lvl 400.
not only you might never actually use the equipment, you can't sell it to other people too as every item bought from equipment shops are untradeable after you bought it.

for 1h heavy
weapon adb, parry, elemental strike, pab
shield block, pab
armor adb, pab, mitigation if you still need extra survivability.

please don't ask 3 questions in separate posts. You can just use one post for them. I merged them for you.

Basically you are low level, with not-so-great equips. That is what you should be working on: leveling up and getting better equips. Not enchanting. Better gear.

Don't buy any equips in the bazaar, unless they are your own level. But even then, check the WTS first.

And: read the wiki. Start with the HV Advice page.

That effect is actually not a truncating error.

Anyway, I also forgot to mention that neither Superlatanium's script nor anyone else's script or formulas reverse calculates the effects of butcher correctly. You "lose" about 1% adb after getting a lot of butcher on any weapon. I figured out the true formula to calculate butcher effects a couple months ago in this thread.

You lost 1% of adb due to the butcher and 1% of adb due to the different Lmin of Superlatanium's script. Be thankful your rapier has high adb, because the Lmin difference of Superlatanium's script has a more drastic drop on low adb weapons (a 15% adb rapier becomes a 0% adb Superlatanium rapier).

Thanks for the explanation. I knew I couldn't be that bad at plugging numbers into formulas. That being said, I realize that a 1% ADB difference doesn't really mean much in the scheme of things, but you feel pretty solid that you were thinking X but then you see Y and it just gnaws at you.

Afaik damage, but i wouldnt suggest getting it when you are not a mage. The time and the damage is just not big enough to make actual a difference when you play 1H or DW. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif)

Damage bonus. The HP/MP restoration remains as the effect of HP gem+MP gem.

IMO, the only reason you need to use 1h light is for it's extra survivability.
after you could survive you wants to speed up clear time, and that's with switching to power armor which have higher adb bonus than light armor.

which is better? it's all relative, but in general around lvl 300 you got enough native survivability for general playing (pf-arena) that you should already ditching light armors,
but you'll still have generally an abysmally long clear time on SG arenas as you got not enough damage to knock down those girl fast, except, if we're talking about some high adb slaughters set, but a full slaughter would also not that comfortable to play after switching from ultra-safe equipments.
this is where you start balancing again between pure power and a little bit extra defense, and most important of all, budget (between full salughter, a bit protection/warding, or using balance as you can't afford the slaughter)

edit : damn, uncle stu post again while I leave for coffee in the middle of writing a reply.

I would say no because you can easily replace this equipment with a better one.
Also, actually you don't really need Jug5 for 1H style, especially if you only play arenas.

Not worth it to reforge. Amnesias are expensive, that piece isn't particularly powerful, health doesn't matter a lot and with some luck you will get the next two levels in Jugg.

Just my personal opinion (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

Chow, it is just chow, not low grade as if edible or cuisine would in some way boost your monster. And what do you mean by best? Easiest? Most efficient? Cheapest?

And of what stock are we actually talking about? Because i have around 21k and never actually cared about it, so i doubt that there a people out there who dont have even much, much more of them. You want more? Easy, play the game, they drop. You want even more? Train scavenger and play even more. You want to reduce the amount your monster do eat? Just get a few monster above PL and give them Edibles. You want a lot chow right now? Just buy them, they are fucking cheap, i wouldnt even be surprised if some shop give some of them away for free.

It takes time. I did play a lot when I reached lv500 and it took me a couple of months. Then suddenly, you're done - you'll see.
