QUOTE(Cryosite @ Jan 13 2018, 18:03) It's fine to fight that way. You just have to see where your limits are. If you can get to the end of the arenas you want to do on IWTBH but PFUDOR is too much damage, then stay with IWTBH. If that is still too hard, stay with Nintendo, etc. Find out what takes too long to clear (how much real life time you feel like playing the game) and how much you have to spend healing instead of stabbing.
As Uncle says, there is not a huge difference between "easy to get/low" stuff and "absolute best end game amazing." You pay a whole lot for tiny bits of improvement as you get later on in progression.
Yes, for the last 30 levels I stick around IWBTH, at first (lv.292) it was hard, then ever since lv.308-311 as I got better stats, prof, and equipments, I feel alot easier (and my credits spent quickly for upgrades, but I feel it's worth the credits) and more fun.

QUOTE(Uncle Stu @ Jan 13 2018, 11:49) This i true for the most of us, but wasnt there someone who did tested a really high damage Axe and that i was faster in normal arenas as a high damage rapier? Hm, i dont remember who it was. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) mantra proved that an endgame, highly-forged axe can be a bit quicker. i proved that a low-forged one can be quicker with SGs (though it was due to the element) and comparable in other arenas. overall viable. don't know about IW/GF, but i suspect the lack of parry may have a weight. tl;dr: axes may be better here and there, but rapier could still be better all-rounder.

So in calculating my proficiency style for maging, the formula for 0.68 gives me a max prof of 550 if I have EE activated (which I do). I assume the maximum isn't 550 anymore but rather 605? For 50 levels of proficiency past my own actual level, +EE, so a max of level 550 prof + 10%?
I'll be well over necessary equipment prof but something I want to keep in mind for in the future to go from two Elementalist Cloths down to one.

QUOTE(Mantra64 @ Aug 28 2017, 00:09) I just did a PFUDOR IW on a Peerless with my Axe. It feels easier than with my rapier. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) and faster. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
QUOTE(Mantra64 @ Aug 28 2017, 17:42) Just did T&T Arena with my Axe. It is faster than with my Rapier. I guess about 10% faster. Yesterday I did a DWD run. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) SG appear to die faster with PA than with Bleeding Proc. I will continue to test it a few days. Stats with my rapier. Physical Attack 13236 attack base damage 217.8 % hit chance 50.7 % crit chance / +73 % damage 1.9 % attack speed bonus Defense 82.6 % physical mitigation 78.5 % magical mitigation 4 % evade chance 69 % block chance 70.3 % parry chance 22.6 % resist chance Stats with Axe: Physical Attack 14491 attack base damage 202.4 % hit chance 50.5 % crit chance / +75 % damage 2.2 % attack speed bonus Defense 82.5 % physical mitigation 78.5 % magical mitigation 7.3 % evade chance 69 % block chance 54.7 % parry chance 22.6 % resist chance
QUOTE(Mantra64 @ Aug 28 2017, 17:56) My current impression is that SG arenas is better with rapier. However the bleeding proc appear to be more helpful with normal monsters.

Can I use Energy Drink to restore Stamina in battle?
Wiki: Restores 10 points of Stamina, up to the maximum of 99. When used in battle, it also boosts Overcharge and Spirit by 10% for 10 turns.
Does that means using Energy Drink in battle can: 1. restore 10 points of Stamina 2. boost Overcharge and Spirit by 10% for 10 turns?

It "also", so it does both.

I hve a question about IW. I have two equips to do it, a shortsword of slaughter (which will be my main hand on DW build until I can find ethereal club, following advice in the old topic) and an estoc of slaughter for 2H. Not going to search for perfect IW though. Ideally, would swift strike has its uses for a second-potencies or would butcher/fatality be desired? I got two agile pieces in my set and neither of these is ethereal (use featherweight in arena runs with the estoc) if it matter. Thank you (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) This post has been edited by dio.med1989: Jan 13 2018, 17:53

What do you use as Offhand in DW? If you don't use a Club or Fus ro dah, some Overpower could be useful. Swift Strike is ok in DW/2H if you base your style on speed.

I would say go for both with a mix of but/fat/over. Swift strike isnt that good at all iirc. But/Fat only is just something for 1H.

A rapier of balance. I will probably not use fusrodah because without frenzied blows I am having to attack one by one. Overpower that is it then. Thanks (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) QUOTE(Uncle Stu @ Jan 13 2018, 18:40) I would say go for both with a mix of but/fat/over. Swift strike isnt that good at all iirc. I will try getting overpower first and trying to get butcher or fatality next then. Thanks (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Btw, if your Crit Chance is high, Fatality > Butcher, especially in the offhand. This post has been edited by gianfrix94: Jan 13 2018, 19:04

Well, that is not a absolute truth. The higher the damage, the more likely will But have a greater effect on the overall damage you actually deal. Okay, that doesnt matter for him at his level. But i think it is something he can keep in mind when i get an endgame weapon later on. But of course i agree that But is not that important in the offhand.

IW/2 rounded up to the highest value d(°∀°d) 3 / 2 = 1,5 so 2 shards 7 / 2 = 3,5 so 4 shards

Let's say you have very good ethereal weapon and got to IW10. Can you reforge it until you get the element that you want mmm...~?

Ofc you can. Who can forbid you from reforging your weapon? It would be better to stay at potency 9 and use infusions. But you can't set a custom name for your weapon, which is mandatory for coolness.
