Between my P4S5 LARN and my P5A3E1 LARD, I did notice a slight improvement when Imperiling, so I'll agree.
That is, I did see the difference at IWBTH difficulty, so it should have even more impact at PFUDOR.

What would be a good mix of Power armor? All Slaughters, 1 Balance + Slaughters, 1 Mitigation, 1 Balance and Slaughters...?

Well that depends. When you go for max damage-nonedefence-SoL style going for full Slaughter is fine i guess. I mean i will never understand why people would play 1H in a way they actually need SoL to prefend death, but some do.
Or you go for the other way a full defence-nonSoL style. By that way i would suggest to go for two Warding and three protectin, and when you just do Arena and non Fest you can when you finaly reach with your upgrades a point they no longer can kill you can trade slowly some defence for Slaughter. But when you go Slaughter let it be at least a slaughter that is actually worth the loss of defence. Aka 50% or up. And yeah, i guess you could also mix one or two balance for defence when you dont have the money for good slaughter. But personally i have never seen a reason to do so. Either you go for defence aka Protection/Warding or you go for damage aka Slaughter. I mean i have allready 50.2% crit chance so together with Heartseeker i have 65,2% in battle and i really have to ask how much more crit chance should one even have?

I grabbed a balance when i noticed i was missing too much when trying to kill monsters with my depreciated gear.

I'll try full Slaughter once i get my block to 55% at least.

Nope. It is a known bug that sometimes they dont activates right after you got them as they are suppose to do. At least for me they usually are active a few hours later. Dark Descent needed around four hours and no dawn. So just be patient, wait a while and they will be active. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

No, they activate after the HV server syncs with the main server, which happens at regular intervals.

Well, i wouldnt say it is that drastic. But imo, when you play 1H. You should play it right and survive because of your defense and not by SoL. And at least for arenas this is something that can be so easy achieved. You dont need Jugg 5 on every piece. You dont need a full peerl set. All you need are three decent protection, two decent warding, a decent shield and some MM and PM upgrades. And that would be the point i would say, yeah, go for slaughter, go on and trade some of the defense that is now mostly redundant for damage, when you just want to do arena. Because IW is harder and Fest is harder. If you want to do them with 1H, keep at least the equipment with the better defense, so you can switch the set. Personally i did just stay with full defense, arena is no danger to me, IW is no danger to me and only the last 300 rounds of a PFUDOR Fest are still a threat to me and can kill me.

Now when i think about it. SoL could even prefent one from notice what actually "killed" you. Tbh i have no idea. I remember i did just use it once and let me get killed just to see how it works, but i dont remember how it did feel in the gameflow. But i would get just, oh SoL has triggered. Heal. Autohoover and allready forgot. But when you get killed and the arena/IW/Fest ended. You look it up. And you notice what it was. And 90% of the time it was generic monster with probably generic name "cast" some generic attack name. And that means, well i dont want to say it was magic, but it was magic. And i still dont get it why people are allways so horny when they read protection, but at the same time they go full limp-mode. I will never understand this.

In fact I found that I soulfuse too many rare equipments that are low levels.(That prevent other low level player to play well)
So I want to try to hold my level and hope I can provide more good equipments that are low levels.

Running a shop without posting is quite silly imo. But yes, anyone can bump you thread, just not too often.

Another way to reduce your EXP gain is to make sure you have below 80 stamina. You can do this easily by entering Item World and running away.

A drawback of reducing your EXP gain too much is that you will get slightly weaker because your Proficiency will not be as high as it could be. This only happens when almost all your EXP is coming from Dawn of New Day. So when you notice that almost all your EXP is coming from Dawn, it's not a bad idea to let yourself gain EXP a little faster.

One cant play well without buying good equipment with a low level? Yeah, sorry, but that is just not true. I have used only self drops -except a single exq rapier from wolfgirl- until around level 380 and i never had any problem to play well, have my fun and archive my goals. Btw today the game is actually even much easier in general as it was in my days. So it is really not necessary to provide them with good equipment they wouldnt had otherwise. Also mind if i ask why you should get better drops then they all would get themself? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

That's wrong. Dawn doesn't get the 4x prof bonus of normal exp gains.
