Is it worth it to buy a single ticket for the lottery? or best to save till you can buy a bunch at a time?
I feel like I'm seeing mostly the same people winning the lottery/consolation prizes almost every time :S
it's better to not expect to win any lottery.
because... it's lottery... you could buy 90% of circulating tickets and not getting anything because somebody else could buy just one ticket and hit a jackpot... and that somebody could be you... so buy one now, buy one batch that would be 90% of circulating tickets. You might still not win anything today, but tomorrow it could be you who win the jackpot~ and that tomorrow might be today, so what are you waiting for...
It's lottery after all.
worth it or not is depend to each person, 1 ticket win happened a few times, but of course holding some big chunk of tickets have better chance of winning (and substantially more loss when not winning anything - which isn't that rare either)
in the end, it's back to you, whether you're ok with losing 500 credits/day for hope and high possibility of not getting anything at all, or saving some millions and all-in in one shot - with possibility of not getting anything at all either.
Of course everyone hoping to win when putting their money on a lottery, but for me, worth it or not is about asking yourself if you're ok with parting with said money to buy the lottery when you actually not winning anything, regardless of it's winning chance.
