Wasnt there a limitation of how many rounds you can play on normal before you actually get reduced drops? Cant find something about it in the wiki right now, but i am quite sure to remember something about it. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

afaik it was after 1000 round of battle on normal-nightmare on grindfest/IW, maxed between 25% to 75% global drop chance decrease after 2000 round, hence hellfest was a thing to speed up clear time (or other reason) but nobody suggest grindfest on nightmare or hard.

But it was changed at 0.85, You could check the changelog, battle/balance section, 2 last points.

yes that would work as cheap starter staff.

But if you want to go end-game with freeze:
Legendary Arctic Redwood Staff of Destruction and then fully forged an IW, like it was before I salvaged it.

is it worth to salvage mag metal equipment anymore? I see the wtb price for HGM is 450c at most, i think the lowest bazaar price for a mag metal would be 800c and in contrast their salvaged counterpart would be a HGM (450c) + 2 scrap metal (2*90c)= 630c
I answered my own question I guess, though you can tell me otherwise if there's something wrong with my reasoning

I use HV util, and it always sold my mag metal, so the answer is yes I guess mmm...

You can invest more into Dexterity.

The only two actual usefull IW for 1H are But and Fat.

The best a 1H rapier can have is But5 + Fat4, but you can settle for something else if you can't spend too much, or if it's a very temporary weapon.

Some deem it enough to have a combination of But + Fat > 6, but I'd say that as long as you have But5, you are fine. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
