Iris Strike is a skill. Blind is a spell. Better Blind does improve the deprecating spelll blind. Not the status effect that would also affect the skill. Or in one word. No. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

What all can I do to improve my odds of receiving token drops? I know you can increase the drop rate with Scavenger and Tokenizer, but does anything else affect it?

Hm, the only thing i could think of except from what you allready said is play more. The more rounds you actually play of whatever the higher the chance for a token to drop. By that way i did enough blood token together to play one FSM and Konata for a more than a week even if i would stop play anythingelse. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

Wait, so the higher level arenas have a higher drop rate? I thought there was just a static token drop rate for clearing an arena, maybe modified by difficulty.

I'd been spending all my game time playing through the low-round arenas on higher difficulty when it sounds like I should have been playing the high-round arenas on Normal instead.

No, where did you read that in my post? I just meant play more. Rounds was here just an overall description, i could also have said kill more monster. So as an example, one who does all the arenas every day and lets say 500 rounds of GF or IW every day, get more token as one who just does the arenas.

Also no one should play on normal. You just get so much less credits, worse equipment drops and so on, as even on hard or hell. You should really play on the highest difficulty you can play in a way you have fun. I say that to prevent one from reading just highest and play in a way he feels so week and slow it just isnt enjoyable to play.

I think it was a combination of you saying:

Alongside me having just seen the wiki saying:

Blood and Chaos Tokens are primarily obtained as Arena and Ring of Blood clear bonus drops

These two things combined to make me think that Arenas with higher round counts have a higher drop rate for their Clear Bonuses.

Also no one should play on normal. You just get so much less credits, worse equipment drops and so on, as even on hard or hell. You should really play on the highest difficulty you can play in a way you have fun. I say that to prevent one from reading just highest and play in a way he feels so week and slow it just isnt enjoyable to play.

I was planning to play on Normal just to speed things up. Right now my main goal is Chaos Tokens. Lower difficulty means quicker arenas means more clear bonuses within my available game time.

But your know that you really loose quite a bit when you do that? And iirc token even have a reduced chance to drop as a normal drop. Personally i would suggest to play at least on hell and when you actually want more token, save the money to buy enough hath for tokenizer, i promise if you actually want chaos tokens it will really be worth it.

I really just want to get another 14 Chaos Tokens so that I can get my 10th monster (I want to get to double digits to test some scripts I wrote). I really wish you could just BUY Chaos Tokens.
I'll go back to worrying about credits and equipment after that.

You could artificially increase the drop rate of all other items, not specifically tokens, by reaching the cap in your equipment inventory, making the roll for an equip drop immediately fail and going straight for the other rolls, as seen here.

As long as you aren't paranoid about missing a Legendary or Peerless drop that could be worth millions, and are adamant on farming oly tokens, then this might help.

I'm not sure how the drops really work, but considering the low chance for successful artifact and token drops, it's a lot more likely that you will get normal items, crystals and credits, so it's possible that the person testing ended up getting more restoratives and crystals and it went unnoticed, as it's a lot harder to track changes in these than artifacts and tokens.

Iirc the result was no different at all, except that all still droped equipment pieces had no place to go and vanish into the void where everything goes to when it leaves bazaar for good. Just dont ask me who did it or where it is writen.

One option is to use HV Utils, input the price of materials that you will get from salvaging and let the script calculate. Quite neat.

If you're not into wasting your time in micromanagement to have small benefits of a few kC, then do like those who don't care and bazaar everything except Mag+ woods and clothes. Not to mention that at some point, if you've got enough monsters the only thing you might really need to buy are scraps and energy cells.
