QUOTE(Fudo Masamune @ Oct 9 2018, 00:59) from wiki : The buff is removed when triggered (and 50% of the player's base SP is consumed). If the player does not have enough SP remaining the trigger will fail and the player will die.
so 50% of your base SP? also I guess since spirit shield proc before SoL means that after long cast spell you might get attacked multiple times and have your sp too low that it fail to proc.
Not this. I'm talking about the bug that would happen when the player had a specific number of health points that would cause instant death without spark of life triggering, even while having enough mana and/or spirit to have it properly active.

that too is in the wiki. Spark of Life Any attack that would one-shot a target with 2 or more HP leaves it alive but on the brink of defeat. The buff is removed when triggered (and 50% of the player's base SP is consumed). If the player does not have enough SP remaining the trigger will fail and the player will die. So 1 is the magic number. You have health 1, you get damage, you die.

Yeah, I'm aware of this. I do remember however that there was a glitch in which when a player's health ended in something like 4 and 9 they would get one shot without spark triggering at all. Am I imagining things or was there really something like this?

Unit digit 1 and 6 Condition: Full health Condition 2: Strong Spirit maxed out This is the version I heard of.

People talked about this a month ago but everytime you Spark there is a very tiny probability it will fail to work. This happens because an enemy by extreme luck hits you down to 1 health without killing you, then Spark thinks you have died when you didn't die yet, so Spark won't work, then the next hit kills you.
Sometimes this phenomena could be semi-incorrectly associated with having a units digit of 1 or 6, because if you also have Spirit Shield on, then a strong attack would do exactly 20% hp damage to you, so if your health ended in a certain digit it would be semi-predictable to you when there is a tiny risk this bug could occur.
But really it could occur extremely rarely for anyone at any time, so don't worry about it. Just improve your defenses in general and the chances of it happening should be minimal.

Thank you both. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) Died twice back to back in the latter 600s of GF today, so just wanted to check if there was any chance it was directly related to this, or just my left fingers casting imperil when they shouldn't. QUOTE((Cheater) KamuiSeph @ Oct 8 2018, 20:08) Cause if I click the weak point attack skill and try to hover over the stunned enemy for maximum dmg aaaand mouse moves a bit too fast and I use it on an enemy that is not stunned lol
to have more precise control over your hover attacks, i suggest setting hoverArea = 6 to restrict the hover area to the status effect section, which is what i've always been using for myself, i'm just shy to make it the default because i'm afraid of being flooded with bug reports about hover not working right

Thanks! Is there a way to modify what stops the hover function? Like, it stops if regen is about to run out, or mana pot, but not if spirit shield/spirit pot

you can choose which expiring buffs pause hover via the alertBuffs setting. the comments give instructions on how to set it up

This part right? alertBuffs = /(healthpot.png|manapot.png|scroll.png|regen.png|heartseeker.png|arcanemeditation.png)/,
Sorry for some reason ctrl+f is not working in tamper monkey and I could only find this "alertBuffs" part.
Edit: I hope this alertBuffs = /(healthpot.png|manapot.png|scroll.png|regen.png|heartseeker.png|spiritpot.png|spiritshield.png|sparklife.png|arcanemeditation.png)/,
Works. I'll give it a go.
Edit:
Works like a charm! I assume that is not default cause most people have Spirit shield spark on innate arcana?

I have 21 Ponies and Dawn has passed.... Am I blind, or do I have to do something else to unlock the OFC? (IMG:[ i.imgur.com] https://i.imgur.com/w2ZLKKO.png) This post has been edited by (Cheater) KamuiSeph: Oct 10 2018, 08:35

Max. Only stats and perks increase base hp/mp (abilities only raise the max value).

According to wiki - random hard or higher difficulty drop, but they quite rare so it's easier to just buy them and ask someone with dark descent perk to reforge your equips for half amount before you soulfuse stuff (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

According to wiki, they drop in every difficulty besides normal. It's also good to take into account that if you play more Arenas than Items Worlds and Grindsfests, which have less monsters per turn, your chances of random loot are less than they could be on the other two battle modes, simply due to less monster present to drop things, as Arenas are made to farm raw credits. On my side at least, I played two GFs today and got two shards, but there are days when I get more and days where I get none, so simply RNG at work. You shouldnt do grindfest. Because of the additional 1 stamina it cost, it is just worth it when you actually play at least +200 rounds. You should do arenas, and if you have done all arenas, IW of some random equipment.
