Hey guys, so I haven't played in like... Forever, thought I'd give it a bit of a go and realized that at some point I must have reset all my stats.
I have 657 million exp points and 0 primary attributes.

I used to be a mage and this is the equip I left on. I don't remember at all if it was any good or what.
Any recommendations in getting back into it?

Your gear is basically obsolete. There are some collectors for obsolete gear, so get in touch with Scremaz about selling some of your old inventory.

Your level is a bit too low to be able to play mage comfortably. In the current HV, mage need to have level 310 at the least, to be able to cast imperil on all monsters before killing them off.

Getting back in:
1. Get credits (you'll probably have hath / credits / old stuff that can be sold)
2. Switch to 1h rapier force shield power armors for a while. Buy stuff at your own level, no need to soulfuse. But perhaps you have loads of soulfrags anyway, then it doesn't matter.
3. Get good mage gear. Highest priority is a good staff. I recommend Legendary Shocking/Tempest. Willow of Destruction. A good one will cost over 10m for sure. But other elements work as well, like a Leg Arctic Redwood of Destruction. The staff determines your element. Then collect gear. A good 'getting started mage' guide can be found here.
4. Above lv. 310 - go mage.

You may want to read the wiki a bit.

How to understand the max prof of each spells?
For example, T1 element spell is 200 and T1 holy/dark spell is 500

I guess it is the main difference between element and holy/dark.
But I can't find more description about it in wiki.
How does it effect?

You can get better rapier but it's not bad, at least a lot better than your Illithid rapier, Ilithid is just one of the worst suffix mmm...

I have a question, point 11 in the OP says I shouldn't mix up items, but what if I dont have a full light armour set. I only got light gauntlets and boots so can I fill the rest with some heavy armour? I'm using 2h weapon as the advice page suggests.

If you don't use the same category, you won't gain the benefits from ability corresponding to the category you use. The benefits from abilities are still negligible for your level. So be sure to switch to either full heavy or full light, may after lv100 I'd say.
Buy them or get them from FreeShop, or some shops
If you want to challenger harder difficulty, light with 2h is better. Otherwise, both fine.

At an extremely low level such as yours currently is (35) that doesn't really matter so go ahead and mix. But try to be able to form a complete set of one type as soon as possible.

The reason you don't want to mix is that when you train your Abilities, some of them only activate when you wear one type of armor without mixing. At your level you don't yet have any significant Abilities so it doesn't matter.

at your level, anything works. Don't panic! Just play with what you have. And check out the FreeShop. In the WTS section of this forum. Lots of free stuff for new players, there. Even credits for nothing (and chicks for free)

I believe the minimum prof is the proficiency where the said spell is unlocked
and the maximum prof are for bonus for cast time and mana cost as on the proficiency page

If you take a look at the Equipment Shop every so often, you can find pieces of Average equipment with the Level Unassigned description, which you will be able to equip.

You can also browse the hentaiverse forum WTS section and look for shops that offer newbies a helping hand, with freebie kits and decent starting equipment. They will often have a [FREE] description right at the beggining.

I've been looking over my weapons and armor inventory, and I've found some soulfused ones that I don't use anymore. I know that they can't be traded or sent to auction, but is there anything I could do with them?

Also, for soulfused equipment, is it better to salvage them for materials or should I sell them at the bazaar?
