Hey, if we talk about buff DW, 2H and Niten i fully agree. I have even tought about that whole monster parry problem. Oak and Willow have counter-resist. So, what about giving some melee weapons counter parry without the need to IW it? Or something else i would like, give us 1H, DW and 2H proficiency perks. I would buy the 1H perk. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) And the perk would be easier to integrate as my counter-parry idea.

And even when i think the whole Overwhelming Strike were just created to balance 1H to DW, i mean DW can actually have 10 Overpower while 1H could have just a max of 5. I would even say let us give all the melee styles Overwhelming Strike. But those are just ideas. It is not as if i could decide anything. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

(631-401)/401=0.574
so far……

You should always maximize profs. You eliminates all elemental mitigation at 0.78 prof factor, not 0.68, so upgrade it to 50

If you forge staff and gloves to level 50, your prof_factor would be 0.6647.

I strongly recommend doing that.

Upgrade weapon/shield first. You can get legendary weapons very cheaply (less than 50k) that would be significant upgrades over your current equipment. Decide between 1h and 2h - once you figure that out you can upgrade armor (heavy if 1h, light if 2h) - but be sure to go at least magnificent shade if light and magnificent power/shielding if heavy.

my advice is none should be upgrade, only mag or better worth upgrade (even mag may not worth)
it's recommend to play 1h+heavy, 2h+shade (1h highly recommend)

Go force if you can afford it. Buckler of barrier isn't terrible, but legendary tier prob force is best for its price. Estoc is better (faster clear). People will recommend you go 1h though because it is stronger, also my recommendation but it's definitely up to you.

Also, pooaa is right - technically replace is the right term. Upgrading isn't really worth it on you current equipment.

MP costs is not a problem, you can just use mana potions if needed. If you feel you need too much, you can use fetherweight shards on your shield. But non of the 1h players need to do that.

I have DD3 now and my current Holy mage build is shown in my signature.
Should I get DD5+ first? Or save money for better equip?
