You are welcome. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) Btw i forgot one thing. From 250 monster start to need edibles, so i would advice to avoid making a lot of 250~500 monster who allready want edibles but dont give you actually any better stuff as a 25 monster.

I am curious, do mages actually use the OFC? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

how could they, it's not like they smack monsters using staff to build the OC needed

Oh, right spells dont build any charge. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blush.gif)

But shouldnt a mage use his staff at least once in a while to gain staff proficiency? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I think mages no longer need to use staff to smack monsters to gain proficiency.

Maybe mage used 2 ED in battle, and they have one chance to use OFC as T3 or something like that

we don't need to smack anything to build staf prof anymore.
also even before when it's needed, mage grind by smacking either the trio (with yggdrasil alive so they don't die), or low quality equipment IW using weak staff, and they're expecting that the enemy won't die fast, so no OFC too there.

how the hell you ended up using 2 EDs in battle? multiple failure on answering riddlemaster on grindfest?

The dawn bonus? But that takes forever. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

But prof gain is caped to one bonus per round. So doing that now with the trio means nothing but wasting time.

Tbh just see even a single reason to use a single ED in battle. To get the bonus from the Long Gone Before Daylight per while having Caffeinated Candies in your inventory. But i have no idea why someone would use two. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Play through Fest costs 21 Stamina. If someone plays Fest without the Effect of Long Gone Before Daylight, then he needs 2.

What has a fest to do with that? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) You should allways make sure you have enough stamina before you start the fest. The time when the game did tell you how much stamina you have during battle are long gone.

Nope. One time I entered GF with only ~15 stamina left, and it also gives me a reason to try OFC as mage.

Using EDs in Battle also gives you an Effect of recovering 10% Overcharge and 10% Spirits for 11 Turns, so I think using it in Battle benefits more than out of Battle, it may save us a Spirit Elixir in Fest. And I think you're right and we should keep having enough Stamina before entering a Battle.

15 Stamina? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) Doesnt the game stop all drops with less than 20 stamina? I have to check that. Oh, its 10. But still. I would never start a GF so low on stamina. And having ED in the battle inventory does actually scare me. I am much to affraid i would press the wrong button by mistake and use one when i dont want to.

for staff you get the prof without having to smack anything now.
like this one, no physical attack but 0.014 staff prof :

and I'm saying that smacking trio was from back before the patch, when you could get prof ticks from every action.

anyway, even if by chance mage ended up having the OC to cast OFC, I doubt the damage is something phenomenal as it's based on physical attack, right?

Normally I enter GF with >40 stamina (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) , that time I just have an idea similar with yours: I want to try OFC in mage style. But I don't want to smack monster so I used 2 EDs in battle instead.

I only use ED in grind fest battle. Because I like how that gives me overcharge! Not really useful but fun. However, hell no I am not using the overcharge for OFC! With my low STR that doesn't make a dent in a stick of butter. I use it for spirit stance.

Haha, yeah, script is very helpful for mage. But if you think IW is long, how do you handle the schoolgirl arenas? PFUDOR IW on legendary takes me 15-20 min on 1h, but DwD is around an hour...

So I tried PFUDOR encounter with 1h mage, it took me 8 rounds to complete after imperil rounds. How long does it take you usually to complete after you imperil the monsters?

After monitoring about 10 battles with 9 monsters at IWBTH difficulty it takes 5-8 attacks.
I to scared to play PFUDOR, (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) No I guess I'll give PFUDOR a try soon....

Just use the lowest difficulty. Otherwhise just get stronger. Level up. Get better equipment. Or soulfuse your equipment. Upgrade your equipment. Use the correct support spells. The usual stuff.

And just in case you didnt notice. Yggdrasil does heal the trio. So kill him first.
