Imperil would still be useful. For non-imperil to be faster than imperil style, you need much higher damage. 3 radiants + 2 charged prof and a ton of forging would probably be necessary, but I'm not certain.

My 1st peerless drop... it was very nice when I used it among the magnificent slaughters of my 1H set (like half a decade ago) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)
(especially since peerless had a ~5% bonus over all Lmax stats)

I dont think so. Last time we had non-retroactive equipment changes was on 0.82, which was over 3 years ago.

Also I doubt any equipment changes will happen on the near future.

I hope new equipments are introduced, but also hope nothing changes with our current equipment... having perfect equips that becomes "not so perfect anymore" isn't cool :/

What weapon do you use as your mainhand? If it's a club, go with rapier as offhand. If it's a Rapier, go with Waki as offhand.

It is very unlikely that new equipment is introduced Inthe next patch. Tenboro tells everyone little, but told us in IRC:
- currently he is working on gallery system which takes a long time because of reasons, as he put it.
- likely after that he will work on HV, but never at the same time
- next update will probably change equipment enhancement through Item World.
- next patch will probably not make gear obsolete, as he acknowledged that many players have invested heavily in their gear.
- he knows that many LV 500 players would like a lv500-only challenge. We will probably get that eventually but it is not known if that is in the next patch or just somewhere deep at the bottom of a backlog.

If what he said regarding galleries is definitely true, I don't hold what he said long ago regarding the updating of HV as a given. I was there when he said that he doesn't like how the IW works and that he'd "probably do something someday", but he hasn't said any more than just that.

which means 10b is currently working on the gallery part, not any update on HV at the moment.

After a nice new staff and advice from magiclamp thanks,
I looked into my proficiency factor.

My Elemental Effective Proficiency is 431 / 323 = 1.33 (Elem. Pro.factor)
I don't understand why my elemental is so low I've been doing Elemental exclusively since lvl 50, casting elec/fire/cold/wind and heal repeat...
Something is very wrong! I should have 10:1 elemental proficiency over the rest!
Is it possible I've lost some proficiency/ratio over the years of updates?

Also I've been all Cloth and Staff for at least 250 if not 300 levels!
If Heavy armor is 259, I think I did once just to see back at lvl 10 for a battle, then Cloth should be 100,000 times more if not a million!

That rapier sucks, buy a decent legendary rapier of slaughter immediately. You don't need to aim for low level rapiers that are more expensive. At your level you can access the majority of cheap rapiers around level 400+ and soulfuse them, assuming you have the typical amount of soul fragments. A pretty decent legendary ethereal rapier of slaughter last week sold for just 50k at auction.

if the choice is only soulfuse or replace, I would prefer soulfusing the mag ethereal slaughter than replacing it with the leg nimble.
Looking at the base atk, with a little care it should be as good as mid-low percentile leg rapier of slaughter, you could still push it further by upgrading the atk and parry to lvl 5, pretty cheap option. also another option is IW it aiming for lvl 5 butcher+whatever other prof. the problem is the lack of str and low parry, the parry could be pushed higher for a little bit more by upgrade (binding of nimble and hg metals aren't that expensive), but the lack of str will have it's toll sooner of later.

so, if possible, looking for a some leg slaughter is preferable. I'm seeing two low ADB leg rapier of slaughter on super's next auction, maybe you could snatch one, past auctions shows that range sold for 50~200k.
