So what? I normaly die once every two months, either by GF or just like you distraction only that it is for me regen i forgot. And i was talking about me, how i would feel about it. If you dont share these feelings, fine by me. I am really proud about myself and that i dont need any SoL at all and except PFUDOR Fest i beat the whole game without SoL. But that is me. But i wonder, why do you need SoL for arenas? I would thought you had allready a set strong enough that none arena could be any danger for you. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

That's not true, nowadays you can get full Leg of Slaughter for ~2m if you patient enough

My 42%adb helmet was bought 650k. I also got 50% adb gauntlets for less than 700k or so, but I sold them when I decided to switch to mage. I believe with 5m it’s very easy to find average slaughters....especially when some lv500 average slaughters unwanted (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

I think I'm too picky. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) But even in an auction, depending on the dispute, equipment with more than 90% can exceed 10m (mainly because they are very rare).

Would that be an exception? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) Not long ago this type of equipment would not sell for less than 1m. But in my case, this type of equipment is not worth the investment, even if it were little. If so I'd rather stay with my Balance (94%~99%) and Protection (all Peerless) sets. I think Power of Protection/Warding with max ADB is much more preferrable than average Slaughter. You pay much less for it, still has a decent ADB, but won't lose in defense that much. It's mages work to be glass cannons. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

I mean, if you are glass cannoning with slaughter, even if it's full, something is clearly wrong. Might as well just be a mage at that point

Well, with enough forging i am sure you can play all arenas with a full slaughter set just fine. But when you play slaughter, you should actually do it with a good and a lot upgraded one. Imo it makes not much sense trading defense for you a bit more damage while at the same time you actually need SoL to stay alive.

I intend to do IW but I can't kill more than 6 monsters with 1H on IWBTH/PFUDOR. I can do the last 3 arenas with PFUDOR because I have OFC and the arena have boss, but others arena is very hard for 1H. What should I use to pass other arenas? I'm currently using basic power set for 1H.

Hmm 1H is considered of best survivability in right now. Two things I can think of:

1. Equipments level are way too behind.
2. You recently switched to 1H style, therefore you have low proficiency to gain stats from abilities.
