Yeah, it's complicated at first. Like everyone who gets into the game (slowly, probably over a period of years before going 'fuck it, I'll play it) you will learn a little at a time. But over time you'll learn more and more. Best read the wiki. You said before "there's no advice for someone of my level' but that is not true. There is nothing but a boatload of advice and FAQs aimed at low level players.

Decide your playstyle. Look up your playstyle. Keep to your armor playstyle (all light, all cloth, or all heavy) and you'll learn as you go. By the time you hit level 150 you'll probably have learned all the basics, anything you still don't know you can ask.

Thanks! I was checking in the prefix and suffix pages thinking there would be a list of Obsolete prefixes and suffixes there.
I didn't think to search for an actual page of Obsolete items.

Probably: 63 rounds/run (@ PFUDOR) x 14 runs = 882 rounds.

For the elemental strike of course! It's key to the secret melee staff style.

Edit: On a more serious note, I just checked and do have a staff you might be able to use instead of wasting time trying to IW an ethereal staff. Do you have enough to fuse this Magnificent Shocking Redwood Staff of Destruction?

1) What's the best way to spend Chaos Tokens? Should I just keep getting new monsters, or is the Scavenging upgrade worth it too?

2) What's a good level to upgrade my weakest monsters to?

3) Is there a good reason to upgrade a monster to the maximum level?

I would say that a good PL level to upgrade your monsters to would be PL 1000+ because that's when they start bringing in more High Grade Materials especially high demand materials like HGC.

1) More and more slots. You can start spending one token per monster in Scavenger past 50 monsters or so. And then probably the second Scavenger upgrade past 70 monsters or so. I haven't made the exact calculation, but it shouldn't be far off.

2) Keep feeding their morale up with crystals until you can't do it anymore or you consider it becomes too expensive. Just make it so you don't waste morale when upgrading them and you should be fine. That much should make you save a lot of Happy Pills which will be useful once they start costing an arm and a leg. IMHO, you shouldn't be having much trouble till you go beyond 10 primary upgrades and 20 elemental upgrades. It takes a monster many months to reach that point by "crawling" the PL that way, but it pays off in the long run.

3) If you don't include bragging rights and pride in the valid reasons, the answer is a big fat no.

Hmm, I did NOT know that Item World tells you how many rounds an Item will take.
Is that new since some update?
