QUOTE(chjj30 @ Aug 19 2018, 06:36) Maybe it's Damage from Burning Soul?
OK. Yep. Burning Soul does conjure itself up while I play. QUOTE(Benny-boy @ Aug 19 2018, 06:41) And now the picture comes full circle. Burning Soul is titled as damage over time... which it is. Thanks guys!!! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Club seems better for harder stage since it can stun so it provides some survivability, but Axe might have higher damage output overall mmm...

QUOTE(DJNoni @ Aug 19 2018, 02:57) imperil style: dark is better for that, yes. Because willow is very good for imperil. -- - wind and elec, with wind perhaps being very slightly better. Very little difference though. - imperil: wind and elec are better. Because you only need prof factor 0.68
Pretty much what I was thinking... Thanks DJNoni! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) QUOTE(Lastwizard05 @ Aug 19 2018, 00:40) What's the performance of prof suffix staff? Just found an old post from 2016: ... For Elem mage, are there any reasons using Redwood Staff of the Elementalist, besides the price?
Prof suffix staff + 5 phases would perform very similar to EDB suffix with 1 cotton... The extra prof from the staff is equivalent to cotton gloves/cap depending on rolls (assuming Lmax, it's a little more than gloves, little less than cap) but, the money you save on staff, you would spend forging the extra phase... so, basically the same Destruction suffix is always better.

Ehm, that deppends on what style you are using not on a single weapon. As 1H you will doing just fine with Protection and Spirit Shield. As Dw you should also use Shadow Veil.

Yeah I'm 1H. But I guess I was wondering if any of the spike shield masteries were beneficial to wind damage?

I recall that there is a vote, for 1H, Searing Skin is the best. just 3 AP, extra level only works with mage

Wasn't it the other way? For 1H arctic rapier is considered slightly better than all others (not Demonic/Hallowed), so for cold strike, picking searing skin effect is beneficial. As for tempestous rapier Freezing Limbs probably better. But that's if lowering resistance from Status Effect gives more damage to elemental strike. Not sure if it is true. Wiki states that elemental strike should produce explode effect with corresponding Status Effect, but so far I'm not seeing it. Also, you might think about special effects from skin/limbs/air/burns - dam reduct, speed reduct, etc, but then, there are more things to consider than weapon for picking right effect. 10% dam reduction from searing skin for 1h power? Naaaah. Like they do any damage anyway.

Considering that 1H does want more hits from monster and ~200% hit chance doesn't need buffs - 10% damage reduction is the best out of non-matching.

Then damage reduction might be more attractive then others, but not much more useful

So, how does monster gift factor really work?
What is the max number of gifts a monster can bring at once by raising it?

Well, imo it works in a really weird way. Because sure as sure those percentage dont mean actuall percentage. I am not sure about the max gift, but i gotten three gifts on multiple occasions. And iirc in the old system max was six.

Yep, asking because I remember a post somewhere about sssss2's monsters bringing like 8 gifts, probably in the HV update thread. I would like to specifically know if there is a time when it's better to start investing in gift factor instead of unlocking more monster slots(when new slots cost 200+ tokens already).

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) Imo long before that. I mean look. To bring a monster allready up to a Gift Factor of 105%, you only need three tokens. My guess would be that it would be allready worth it to bring all your monster up to at least that when you reach a slot cost of 100.

My guess would be that it would be allready worth it to bring all your monster up to at least that when you reach a slot cost of 100. It might be, however is there a point where there's 100% chance that your monster will bring you 2 gifts at once? Unlocking new slots means 100% chance of the monster giving one gift every time, so those are the details I'd like to know. Another example would be a fully chaosed monster coming back with a single gift. Is this possible?

Hey so, I spent all of my GP on the wrong lottery... and thought the "Do Not Want" button would take me out of it and return my tickets.
That does not seem to be the case, and now they're just floating in there. What happens in this scenario?

Do not want is there in case you don't want the random equipment of the day and wish to still try to get the other four prizes. I don't think there's a way to get the GP back. :S
