What's something good to train next?

I say max out Adept Learner or balance Scavenger, Luck of the Draw and Quartermaster upgrade for the same price mmm...

What's something good to train next?

I think train Scavenger, Luck of the Draw and Quartermaster to 80% (40, 20, 16) like Archaelogist is a good Idea, use Scremaz's Caculator and we can find, that 80% Levels of those four cost about 30% of their total Cost, the rest 20% Levels cost the rest 70%. I trained those four to 80% after I bought my first Gold Star and DD1.

I think you have already a pretty high level in those training.
I would max adept learner and then check hath perks.

Scavengers and LodT ROI are so bad that I wouldn't suggest training them more unless you really have no way of spending credits.
Quartermaster is probably not that good too since you already have a pretty high level.
Archeologist could be good if you do a lot of fest, otherwise 8/10 is already a pretty high level.

Depending on the level you have Crystarium, Tokenizer or DD may be a better investment than maxing drop trainings.

Random question: are you allowed to have two accounts on HV? Say you max out your persona's or wanted to play from the beginning. Is that allowed? If it is, could you send items and credits between the accounts or is that a no-no?

That will get you banned. Both accounts. You can be sure about that.

Edit: It would be kind of cool to start over at level 1 though.
I see the desire if we could keep the toys we gained.

You can add this as a suggestion, in the 'can we has' thread. Like with reincarnation shards, where you have to buy perks to get a head start. We do have a test account by the way, that you can use to see how low level play works. But the moogle is disabled, so it's not an actual account.

Are equipment drops determine by the equipment I'm using? I'm 1H/Heavy Armor. Over half of my legendary equipment drops were Cloth and I rarely get 2H or Staff drops of any quality.

So yes it's normal that 2H/Staff/Shield were the least you got from the past are the rarest drops for everyone

On every game I've ever played online, they always had the one account rule. The reason I was spurned to ask the question is that I swear it feels like I've seen folks use two accounts sometimes. It might just be that their usernames are very very similar or something. I've once been sent something from a different account than the one I was talking to in the first place, hence why I was wondering.

Yeah, starting over at level 1 would be cool as hell. I think that's something I'd enjoy doing one day. And I wouldn't even want to be able to send myself super powerful equips either, I'd just want to start and grab stuff from self-drops. Just maybe try it in a different playstyle and see how far I get or something.

What's the best DW set? My main hand is an ethereal club and I have a superior axe with 800+ damage and a waki with 400+ damage for the offhand, which one is better? Is it worth to have a waki at all? Thanks

Sure a waki with hight parry as off-hand is imo allways worth it. But personally i would go with the Club as main. The stun does really help you to hit the monster. So i would say you deal in the end more damage with the club as with the axe. And imo the lack of parry on axes just makes them bad.

Waki nimble has higher parry, but rapier has high parry too and should be slightly cheaper (well at that level both are pretty much the same) mmm...

So why is kiteshield considered bad again? the one in lottery today is very similar to the force shield from a couple weeks ago, just a bit lower block and higher burden. Is that really a big deal?

From what i see...
1.It has lower block rate compared to a force shield ( which is the most important stat on a shield)

2.It has higher burden than a force shield which might affect your crit rate, thus lowering your potential overall damage. "A burden beyond 70 will decrease your crit chance by 2% per point of burden 70, effectively negating your crit chance at 120 burden" so says the wiki.

So why is kiteshield considered bad again? the one in lottery today is very similar to the force shield from a couple weeks ago, just a bit lower block and higher burden. Is that really a big deal?

All around, they're the worst. Even a high block mag force shield could have higher block than a peerless kite shield. There's not much of a point in buying a kite sheild, even a peerless, when a dirt cheap force shield or even a half-decent buckler of the barrier would be better.
