QUOTE(VawX @ Aug 3 2018, 18:23) It's just I'm not sure whether the first several arena really gives better reward, and I use 1H so usually I don't really use that many restoratives in arena or GF, but it's not like I have the time to grind GF everyday mmm...
I am with you. And that is t he reason why i told you to just try it out to look if it is worth it for you. It is just that i take quite a bit to do a full GF, but of course the higher the difficulty the higher the profit you make by doint one. Also it does take quite some time to do a whole GF. For me i need atm for a whole IWBTH Fest something between five and three and a half hour. Depends on what elementday it is, if i use infusion or not and if i do make a lunch break in it. QUOTE(-vincento- @ Aug 3 2018, 19:09) oh I just finished a GF and here comes the question. I mean Fire Spike Shield, not ruby trash prefix on the force shield. Monsters who got Fire Spike Shield do 10% less damage due to its proc---Searing Skin. So 1h usually stick with fire spike shield. And Searing skin decrease cold mitigation by 25, which... increase damage of your arctic strikes. https://ehwiki.org/wiki/Spells#Theft_EffectsStatus Effects Ehm, and your question is? Only after frequenting this thread for a few months did I learn folks didn't do the first five arenas. I don't completely understand why. Even in my heavy 1h style, it barely takes two or three minutes. I get a forced equip drop, and every other day I'll usually get at least one chaos/blood token trop. I was lucky a few days ago and got two blood token drops. 3 minutes for a (very) small chance at some token drops, 5 shitty equips (which you can bazaar for 1k-2.5k)? Worth it for me. I can see why folks who are very, very rich wouldn't bother with it. But it takes so little time I can't imagine myself not doing it. Unless, you know, I had hundreds of millions of credits.

I might understand it wrong, but isn't the stamina loss infinitesimally small? It's based on how many rounds you do for the arenas, rather than a loss of a certain amount just for entering, right? Regardless, if you're close to hitting 10 or constantly low (or consistently working on IW and such) I can understand avoiding them. I generally keep my stamina below 80 so I don't level too fast so it doesn't matter too much for me I suppose, although like I mentioned before, I've never seen any appreciable stamina loss from doing them. I think you lose a single stamina point from doing all 5. This post has been edited by aleden: Aug 4 2018, 01:15

Way not we do the math? as the market price of energy drink, and put the Token of Blood drop as 1/5day, which mains 1/50day, you can fight 1 RB Gods more Energy Drink 5 7 12 15 20 -12390 Arena Drop 20 200 400 600 800 2020 Arena Equip Drop 300 300 300 300 300 1500 RB Gods 1000 -200 40000 6000 8000 1096 Chaos Token Else it turns out Chaos Token and Else income should be worth 5000-7000 to make it worthy which i don't think is easy, but I will try it later to find out but with Hath Perk Long Gone Before Daylight it will be totally worthy, I think? in the end with all dorp market value, droped 3k so the question would be: if Chaos Token worth 15-20k?

If you're using energy drinks, I suppose. If you're not using energy drinks or don't have consistently low stamina, there's no reason to not do them. Other than saving a few minutes time. I suppose that's the divide. Folks with low stamina/can't afford to lose 1 shouldn't do the first 5 arenas (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) This post has been edited by aleden: Aug 4 2018, 04:22

First five arena adds up to 59 rounds. Stamina cost is 2.36 if you are above or equal to 80, 1.18 below that.

Fuck, sorry, that was totally a slip of the tongue. Or of the keyboard (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) I meant to write 'I don't think you lose more than a single point". If I was implying you don't lose any, whoops LOL. And yeah I was using the calcs for under 80 stamina, which I think is 0.02, while it's 0.04 for over 80. IIRC.

Yeah, so was I. That's what I meant. 0.02 multiplier (per round), which is 1.18 stamina for the first 5 rounds. Clearly today I'm not doing well communicating

Can I ask which difficult suitable for newbie? I read the first page that say don't rush lv too fast, but still recommend for 100% exp boost. I'm getting confused about that and don't know if I should keep the stamina between 90-99. Should I do the arena with the most difficult I can or just keep doing hard?

Everybody has their own philosophy about leveling (how fast or slow), so I won't get into that. But you lose the 100% boost if you're under 80 (e.g. 79). At your level, you are going to level incredibly fast regardless, so I wouldn't worry too much. Just do all the arenas every day, make sure to do the RE's (build up those soul fragments now!) and you will find yourself at level 150, 200, etc in no time flat. Also, you should always do the arenas at the hardest difficulty you can manage without getting destroyed. You should be able to go above Normal and Hard at your level, but do what you feel is most comfortable. Just remember, the higher difficulty you go, you get more EXP, credits, better quality of drops, and so on, so it's definitely recommended you should try to get above hard.
