That you dont have to put that mucb tickets into the lottery. 20k is way too much. Damned in the end it was still possible to win that shield with a single ticket. While i know of people who have invested more into tickets for an Oak staff as the staff would be worth in an auction and didnt won shit. Is it now clear what my point is? So investing in lotteries with good equips worth it, but it doesn't worth it because there is single equip per ticket per try. Ok (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Is it more worth it to use chaos tokens to give each monster the first scavenger chaos upgrade, or to keep unlocking more monster slots? I have gold star so I have the 2 slots per monster slot upgrade, and currently have 42 total monsters.

I have the monsters at min PL minus 1 that's at 800ish.

Scavenging increases the gift factor by 2.5%, so if cost is higher than 40/80 tokens then yes (without considering profit between new monster unlocks)

Wait, so are you saying at the point it costs 40-80 tokens for a new monster, it's more useful to increase scavenging on a strong monster?

I'm pretty much at that point now, but I've never upgraded a monster, not even once. What is considered the point that it's useful for scavenging to be upgraded to? Increasing it by 5% (two upgrades) or 10%? Or something way higher?

Edit: Lunarika, that's probably exactly what Benny meant. I derped really hard on my reading comprehension on this one I think LOL

Each new monster basically gives 100% gift factor at base, so it's 80 tokens as the breakpoint assuming you have 80 monsters to buy the first point of, and assuming that you get 2 monsters per unlock. Is that what you're saying?

That is what the numbers telling us. But because with 100% they can only bring you a single gift. But you dont need more than 200% for them to bring you even three gifts. So imo those numbers are misleading.

I don't think that it matters that much. More monsters is better, because then you have more monsters that bring gifts. And even the losers get lucky sometimes, so get as many losers out there - that's my strategy.

I actually did increase my main monster's gift factor a little just because it's the one with an actual chance to bring high-grade stuff. Though, is there a breakpoint for crystal packs spent vs actually getting better grade materials? Since atm, most mid-grade materials are at ~200-500c per, and high-grade is 200 600 5-6k 15k.

Actually, another quick question. How to get more chaos tokens? Just arena clears and keep plugging at it?

There is always a return on investment - if you play for years and years, investing crystal packs will pay off. I suggest you start with getting 1 monster to 1500 or so - just for the sake of it. You'll meet him/her in the arena's then, regularly. And you get more wins and gifts. And in a couple of years, it may even pay off! (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) But, it's mainly because you get to meet your monster.

More tokens? Get tokenizer III. And then do a grindfest every day. Or better: 2 or 3 grindfests every day. And all arena's (except the first 5 of course), every day. And RoB.

As far as I understand gift factor affects on how often you do get more gifts, but whole description is misleading, so this is my understanding of it, it may or may not work differently.

Well i just tell you what i have noticed. I have monster with Giftfactor +150% who bring me allready three gifts sometimes. Of course not on a regular basis. But from time to time. And this is all i can tell you. I have just observe this.

It's definitely a credit sink that takes years to pay off after hitting PL750.

But... I've learned that it seems to be a linear scale on the chances for higher grade materials.
Or.... at least it feels kind of linear.
On the numbers side, with all 200 of my monsters above PL1000, I average 118 gifts per day.
And the good news is 72% of those gifts are high grade or bindings.

To me, this has become an integral part of the game for I watch the percentage of mid grade materials drop as I now increase my lower PL monsters equally.

After a while, your materials will start paying for the crystals anyway.

I go along with DJNoni....
Get as high with tokenizer as quickly as you can to increase your monster count and gift factors.
