Last year I sold an arctic one (lvl 320, 95% ADB) for 150k. Around that time I saw a level 400+ player buying one for that amount, that's why I put that price on it. I sold it in a few days

Artic and 95% ADB. Yeah, heavy forged and used with fire spike one of them can in normal arena be more effective as a rapier. I would still not use one.

I would say until it costs up to a million credits or more but I will soon spend millions on assimilator regardless because reasons.

I am leveling slower than I would like to be personally so I'm going back to leveling up adept learner slowly.

My question is how much does the final level of adept learner costs?

total set is: 5.126.663 credits. Don't know the final level, but it's still cheap in my book. I already spent 40m+ on Assimilator.

That's not too expensive for me either if I still had six million credits on me. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

My assimilator level is seven so I think that I have already spent more as well compared to if I were to max out adept learner but I'm not sure.

In my opinion ethereal is better than non-ethereal on any melee style even 1H until you are really high level. And it's no problem to continue using ethereal all the way to level 500 if that's the strongest rapier you have, though one with burden would be preferred. Until you are totally invincible, ethereal gives you less mana expenditure and more evasion and speed for just a tiny reduction in damage output rate.

No. Hallowed = Demonic = Arctic > Ethereal > the rest.
Ethereal is only (debatably) better for 2H weapons.

Well, for a high level 1h melee, against SG:

Demonic =(very little difference)= Hallowed > Ethereal D/H >>>>> other elementals.

Cold Strike with Flame spike shield may be better than D/H, especially against normal monsters, but the difference is small.

D/H waepons can use Infusion of Frost while Arctic weapon can't deal Dark+Holy Strike combo to SG monsters.

For melee advantage is really small so it's less effective than DD1, but lvl 5 might be around DD2.
For mage if we take either elemental/dark/holy you'll get more advantage from DD1 or 10% prof perk, but lvl 5 might be around last prof upgrades on your equipment.

I've upgraded to Assimilator 10 only because it helps me having a Depr prof as high as possible, which is very important for an Imperil melee.

Why would you want burden and interference on DW? Oh nevermind, I think you are considering that Ethereal may not acquire the elemental strike you prefer. Yes in that case I agree.

Can you leave a monster's initial skill unnamed to make them only use their 2nd MP skill? Is that a good idea?

Nope you cant. They are named with a generic name automaticly. And even if that would be not the case. Iirc it was not even possible to name only the later attacks. And even if it would be possible i just cant see why that would be a good idea anyway. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

It would be a good idea because:
The second MP skill is a lot stronger than the initial skill
They cost the same amount of MP
Monsters don't seem to like sitting at full MP without using skills
So:
They would use only the second skill, which would mean they were doing much more damage
Take a high int Celestial for example, it seems like it would be a lot better to just use a 80 power holy magic skill instead of sometimes using a physical slashing/crushing skill with less power.

The wiki says you need to set skill names before monsters can use them. I guess no one has updated it yet.
