You figure an axe would be used in DW builds, with OH Rapier, if you were absolutely suicidal and wanted max damage, and DW likes having minimal burden, I'd imagine.

That used to be my build. It uhh..... has some pretty severe survivability issues.

I still feel like DW/2H could use a nice buff in some manner. In DW's case, I still wonder why it's not allowed to keep spirit stance up near 100% of the time like 1h does.

I agree. DW and 2H deserve some 10bo love. You know i thought back shortly after i did switch to 1h, it would allready help if DW would get the same benefit with a parry as 1H does. Or at least get some Overcharge from it.

Perhaps for very high level DW, if one can afford tanking a bit.

I purchased Axes, shortswords, etc a lot before I hit level 300.

Misguided, probably. I just know that I did lol. Especially a level as low as 224, that's not bad. I'm not saying you could get much for it, but at 5k, 10k, or whatever, a younger green-behind-the-ears aleden would have been interested in that. Especially since it's legendary and who knows what the heck I was even using back then. Probably exquisites lol.

Last year I sold an arctic one (lvl 320, 95% ADB) for 150k. Around that time I saw a level 400+ player buying one for that amount, that's why I put that price on it. I sold it in a few days

Artic and 95% ADB. Yeah, heavy forged and used with fire spike one of them can in normal arena be more effective as a rapier. I would still not use one.

Well, i have level 5 and i got my main profs around 30 level ahead of my level.

I would say until it costs up to a million credits or more but I will soon spend millions on assimilator regardless because reasons.

total set is: 5.126.663 credits. Don't know the final level, but it's still cheap in my book. I already spent 40m+ on Assimilator.

That's not too expensive for me either if I still had six million credits on me. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

My assimilator level is seven so I think that I have already spent more as well compared to if I were to max out adept learner but I'm not sure.

In my opinion ethereal is better than non-ethereal on any melee style even 1H until you are really high level. And it's no problem to continue using ethereal all the way to level 500 if that's the strongest rapier you have, though one with burden would be preferred. Until you are totally invincible, ethereal gives you less mana expenditure and more evasion and speed for just a tiny reduction in damage output rate.
