I got my first legendary drop today. Is it any good? If so/not, why? I want to know if it's worth to keep grinding potency for it or even soulfuse it for an eventual mage weapon.

Imo no. For hallowed you want an oak staff and not a willow. Also the stats are not good.

At best it reduces the impact of a permanent spirit stance, and that's about it.

edit: also a few points in Int doesnt hurt at all. I mean even with the XP from all my Int points i have set, i couldnt even get a single Str point. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

One of these days I have to calculate, how exp much you can spend (on level 500) on Int while at the same time spending as much as possible on other stats.

1st an axe is not a good weapon for 1h.
2nd ehtereal is not good for 1H.
3rd ehtereal is not good for 1H.

With 14% Damge? I had to lie if i would even call it average.

forget about axe. Axe is straight bazaar, unless it's ethereal and almost peerless quality that someone would buy as collection.

You figure an axe would be used in DW builds, with OH Rapier, if you were absolutely suicidal and wanted max damage, and DW likes having minimal burden, I'd imagine.

I still feel like DW/2H could use a nice buff in some manner. In DW's case, I still wonder why it's not allowed to keep spirit stance up near 100% of the time like 1h does.

I agree. DW and 2H deserve some 10bo love. You know i thought back shortly after i did switch to 1h, it would allready help if DW would get the same benefit with a parry as 1H does. Or at least get some Overcharge from it.

I purchased Axes, shortswords, etc a lot before I hit level 300.

Misguided, probably. I just know that I did lol. Especially a level as low as 224, that's not bad. I'm not saying you could get much for it, but at 5k, 10k, or whatever, a younger green-behind-the-ears aleden would have been interested in that. Especially since it's legendary and who knows what the heck I was even using back then. Probably exquisites lol.
