Could you give me some advice about should I train Adept Learner more ? I have 78 now.

I would say lets train some more.

QUOTE(-Daiki- @ Jul 20 2018, 20:48) *

I ask this question because the more Adept Learner I train, the faster level up I will but I can't unlearn it. And I read some post of higher level players said that they wish they level up slower than they did. Not only aleden's post a few day ago, but also other higher level player's post like this:

Imo this is just bullshit from people who feel much too comfortable inside of the noob protection they still get from the game. Because no, the game doesnt get harder when you reach a certain level, it just stops been more easy at it actually would be. So, if i were you, i would call bullshit and train AL as much as your wallet does feel okay with. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

QUOTE(-Daiki- @ Jul 20 2018, 20:48) *

As a novice, I think that the higher level you have, the more credit you can make.

Well tbh that has nothing directly to do with the level they have. But with the credits they allready have invested into training. I mean trainings like Scavenger, Luck of the Draw, Quartermaster and Archaeologist. Some perks help too like all high level player who play every arena every day have Long Gone Before Daylight. But for most people it takes times to get those trainings and perks, so the higher the level aka the longer you have played the game allready the higher should be your income. So high level and high income just have the same cause.

Thank you.

I always liked leveling up fast. Okay, at level 500 you can't sell any magnificents anymore, but the availability of great gear is much better. Best way to do that is actually buying a Gold Star. I know, that's a bit expensive, but it may be interesting nonetheless. I bouht Gold Star when I was around level 200, never regretted it since.

You'll get a lot of different advice from folks, IMO, you just need to decide yourself what you want out of the game, how you want to play it, etc.

You may be able to earn (a little bit) more credits at a higher level, but for me it's not really an issue. I still get good drops at my level, including a very sweet power of slaughter weapon that has a good 10m+ estimated value. I can still play all the arenas at PFUDOR. In fact, if you want to make credits faster, you can play the SG arenas at a lower difficulty. The difficulty does not affect if they drop their trophies. So just speed through them, get those trophies every day, and unload them every week or so. A shitload of trophies and noodly appendages (should be able to get one a day with all the blood tokens and such) should be netting you a million credits a week.

So do you need to be higher level? I don't know. Decide for yourself. I'm levelling fast enough, and I'm not even trying to level. I'm earning millions of credits, can play the game just fine, do whatever I want to do with it, and I'm level 333. I read some of the other posts. I won't lie, I don't know what the absolute fuck Uncle means by 'noob protection' since that's never been a consideration or something that's been on my mind when playing. (actually I genuinely just don't know wtf he even means). I just like the level I'm at. I like getting magnificent and legendary drops that are under level 400 and selling them, and donating them for free to friends and nice beginners I find on the forums. That kind of stuff makes it fun for me to play the game.

Maybe I could make a little more credits if I levelled up faster. I genuinely don't know, because I am a lower level right now. I've never been level 400, 450, or 500. So I don't have that experience. Obviously I can't testify to that. But it's not like any of the magnificent drops or legendary drops at 500 are any good. In fact, most of them are fucking garbage shit simply because nobody wants it. A level 500 magnificent anything has to be pretty goddamn amazing to even sell at a very low amount. And honestly, I'm not at the point where I get any fun or joy out of playing HV as a pure numbers game. The day that I need to be a higher level, for whatever reason (making credits? I dunno) that way I can justify to myself spending 7-10m more credits to jump from 89 ADB to 99 ADB on that legendary power armor, sure. I'll level up and do that. But I'm not picky enough to care at this point. I'm more focused on playing with my cool armor (which is still worth millions), forging them, and playing around with the game.

Plus, you can be playing HV for years. Have you seen how long some people play this game? Do you know how long it takes to get from level 499 to 500? Honestly, just take it easy. No need to level fast.

General, no need to level fast.

For melees, the higher level beyond lv400, the more time you need to clean Arenas.
For mages, higher level means more unlocked skills and more primary attributes to improve your evade, defense, etc. So it could be helpful to some extent. But also be sure, you would need much much more time to increase the same amount of profs factor because your prof gained is based on exp. More exp needed to level up= more needed to increase prof.

As for equipments and drops, the higher, the less soul fragments you need when you soulfuse something. And the more choice you have since most good equipments are lv400~500.
As for drops, the higher level your become, the less value your equipment drops become. High-quality ones still get the same bids, but low~medium quality ones barely get sold.

Level has nothing to do with your income. I don't recommend going for too many adept learners because it's not that meaningful. Go get the first 100~150 trainings you want, the last 100 are quite expensive.

Still this is an old topic. There is no correct answer to it. Once you reach lv350~lv400, the benefits of level become negligible...

Brought up some interesting points that I missed. There have been some armor that I've let go because it'll be level 480 and that's too far away for me to get to level 380 then soulfuse. Stuff like that. Generally, though, I've been able to find armor and weapons that are just as good. It depends on what you can find via drops, auctions, and shops.

I think level 330-350 is the point where I really stopped caring about levelling. I wanted to get to level 300 because I use imperil. I love imperil, I always will (not bringing up the melee using imperil debate again though LOL) so I wanted to get to level 300, then 330 for max Imperil shenanigans. Also, I think there are a few nice abilities I get unlocked at 350, so I'm sort of just floating around until there. But after that, I don't really have a goal. Just have fun goofing around with the game. It all really depends on your philosophy and what you want to do with the game (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

There are no substantial reason not to level up and many essential reasons to level up (especially if you play or plan to play mage), so I suggest to invest up to adept 200 (~1,7m total) or max out (~5,1m).

Other money wise training includes scavenger 30 (~1,3m), luck of the draw 15 (~1,4m), quartermaster 10 (~1m), archaeologist 5 (~1m) and some assimilator/ability boost for mage.

But i would say one should carefull when training those. They need time to pay off. So i do suggest only train when you can easy afford the credits.

At max, wouldn't it only take 20 days to level up because Dawn of a New Day gives 1/20th of the exp required to level up?

I am possibly purchasing innate arcana 3 and I would like to know which autocast spells should I fill up slots for 1h (My only playstyle for now) and Niten (soon to be my second or third play style)?

I'll go with Spark of Life, Spirit Shield and Protection after I get innate arcana III for my 1h persona.

I'll think about which auto cast spell to use for niten later.

Thanks for the advice.

Imo 1H dont even need SoL. I run 1H without SoL since, well actually since ever, i only used it once because i was curious. And the only thing that is actually danger for me are the last 250 rounds of a PFUDOR Grindfest.

I have IA 3 and i have sloted Protection and Spirit Shield. As preparation for later when i go mage -this will still take a while- i am thinking about getting IA 4. I mean getting even a bit more mana is never a bad thing. Btw, i support proficiency is allready so high that i only have an upkeep of 1.43 MP/round. So yes, even with autocasted spells, it is possible to have a possitive mana income in battle. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

Sorry about repeating a question, just am looking to soulfuse and want to check which one is better (ignoring levels). The Deflection shield has higher block but I know dampening is preferred over deflection for 1h heavy (and the dampening shield also has slightly higher PM). Does the higher block make up for it anyways with 50 forging?

Who the hell does actually care about dampening or deflection. They are both DEA. One shield has 98% Block. The other has 70%. There is no question. It is obvious which one you should use. Because one is clearly superiour above the other.

Block chance difference scaled to lv363=0.96%
0.96*1.358(forged 50)=1.30%
If I were you, I would prefer the dampening one since it requires less soul fragment. And yea dampening is good because most physical damage are crushing and piercing.
You are not going to play PFD GF anyway, 1.3% block chance on a non-end-game shield doesn't do anything but pride.

Is the maximum number of lottery tickets you can buy still 10k before using a golden lottery ticket? IE get to 9900 and then use the ticket? Also the description for the ticket is wrong and it says that it adds 1k tickets, but the lottery page says it adds 100.
