I think differently than him, some Magnificients are worth upgrading, like a Mag Power Slaughter with Leg Range Adb.
But that thing you upgraded was totally a waste, apart from the Forge EXP.
Why do you even use Leather? If you want to use Light Armor you gotta use Shade.

Even a Mag power of Slaughter is a waste, since while you may have the chance to have Leg-range ADB, everything else will be very likely to be below Leg range. Mind you, we're talking about throwing Repurpused Actuators for each level of forging, and the little babies are worth 65k each (IIRC).

Unless of course you consider that you can afford salvaging that Mag Power of Slaughter, thus losing at the very least the value of the equipment itself, plus one Repurposed Actuator (and a few Mid-grades and catalysts, but let's disregard that). Or unless you haven't soulfused the equipment and you are confident in your ability to sell it back without losing too much on its value.

Salvage Mag+ Cloths/Shields/Staffs, Bazaar everything else.

The rules for bazaaring vs salvaging are slightly complex. What I currently do is:

1) Salvage any Magnificent+ Cloth/Shield/Staff for High-Grade Cotton/Wood
2) Salvage any Average for Scraps
3) Bazaar any Superior for credits (Low-Grade Materials are worthless)
4) Bazaar any Light Armor (Leather Materials are cheap)
5) Salvage any Exquisite+ Melee Weapon/Heavy Armor that drops in poor condition below 60% (get Mid-Grade and High-Grade Metals slightly cheaper)

What was the ranking of Arenas in drops/usefulness, from best to worst?

+1) I'm curious about this as well. I usually run the first several Arena's cause they're quick and easy.

PFUDOR DWD and others take me a long time so not sure it's worth doing vs just focusing on RE's.

2) Managed to pare down almost all of my random equipment with a small laundry list of some that I don't know what to look for.

3) For the Weapon Lottery, is there a reason why this shield has way less Block% than the last Force Shield when both are Peerless?

From the name, I think they should be rare artifacts. They act the same way as a precursor artifact, just rare stuff.
