Yes, like i did. I really didn't understand about SoL at all until i tried it. I casted, then just attacked with no regen or cure and the SoL kicked in and still no cure casted and then... defeated.. So I was thinking of replacing my sword with a legendary rapier of slaughter. But where to find one? Something with the same stats at least, https://hentaiverse.org/equip/53060161/01545226bf
I've noticed that some can completely lack a bonus like Attack Speed, or such. (I might turn it down because the prefix, like demonic or ith, doesn't serve the style, over say, Arctic or something. Or the interference might be crazy high.) Then spending credits on an item world service player to put some levels on the sword. Then salvaging what bindings I can from my E sword to use on my L sword. I've been looking over the WTS and they seem to go for 50k-300k credits. And there are some good bargains there, but not the exact piece I want. So I could buy some of the lesser L swords, but not some of 34 million credits ones! Should I get a 500 and then soulbind it? As I'm 300 wouldn't that bring down the stats on the weapon, making it less useful and less then what was expected?
If there's any flaws in my reasoning, I assume that more-experienced player will be able to point them out.

What style do you use? Because 1h+shield don't need any attack speed or 0 interference but need (a little) burden. And where is that 34m rapier? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

1. Yes, at your level you need to change your weapon for a magnificent/legendary rapier of slaughter (assuming you are using 1H heavy).

2. You don't want attack speed bonus with 1H heavy.

3. Demonic isn't a bad prefix, I prefer demonic/hallowed for SG arenas. <- personal opinion.

4. Less interference is more important for mages, with melee style you want low burden, with 1h heavy just below 70 is fine.

5. A rapier of slaughter will cost you 100-300k for mag and 1M-3M for a leg aprox.

6. If you can't find one around your level its fine to buy one that you can soulfuse (if you have plenty of soulfrags and said equip is decent/good).

But as I always say "I'm not an expert", take what I say with a grain of salt.

So, all i can tell you is, you have to wait until you find a rapier that fit your demands. Ether in a shop or in an auction. And you actually even cant soulfuse an Level 500 weapon. You would need to be at least level 400 for that. And even than you still had to soulfuse the weapon before you could even use it yourself. So dont worry about that stats going dont to scale your level because you cant change that. And also those stats would increase again when you level up. So dont worry about that too much.

That makes no sense. Get the bonus. Get ALL the bonuses. And if you think you don't need the bonuses, remember that the enemy AI has bonuses of their own that you have to bonus your way past if you want to win the duel.
I don't remember where I saw the 34 million rapier. I checked all the WTS pages, but didn't see anything I could afford, especially with the level cap restricting my choices of glorious weaponry...

No, that is not how 1h style works. You need to be slow! You can only attack one monster at a time. But each moment that you don't attack, all monsters will attack you and get blocked and parried. So they die and you get overcharge for permanent spirit stance. If you are fast and light weight, you get less overcharge and monsters take more time to die.

My forge level is extremely low (level 0) so I'm going to do something about it by forging anyway I have a high level 1-h slaughter weapon with 92% adb that I can't use yet but could always soulfuse it when I get to level 400.

I don't have any slaughter bindings that I can use unfortunately because my monsters have yet to give me any of those but I do have other bindings that I can use for it just laying around gathering dust basically.

I know where I can buy them but don't want to spend credits on buying them right now.

I'm thinking about trying my luck to forge it and IW all by myself without asking for help.

It's not a rapier so should I try to get butcher and fatality or something else entirely?

Please don't bother to persuade me to replace it with a rapier regardless of there being one out there someday or right now with even higher adb.

You don't need any binding to forge until Forge 5. You do need rare materials for rare armors though.
