What is the most efficient way to level up forge level?

Build several styles and forge them to maximum...

I think we don't need to change the Armors: If we use 4+1 for Elemental Staff, just use the same 4+1 for Elemental 1H-Mage.

What is the major difference between each mage build (Elemental, Dark and Holy) aside from different prof.

Elemental: much cheaper to get going. Works excellent with imperil style. Highly recommended.
Dark: if you want to go the hard way, in the end it is just as fast as elemental for imperil style, or almost as fast when playing non-imperil. And a bit more expensive. And if you really spend a lot of credits, non-imperil style can even be faster than imperil style. But at what costs?!
Holy: the strongest style, because holy spells give "Breached Defence" - which makes the next spell do even more damage. Downside? All the really rich players play holy. They start bidding on a good radiant phase with a bid of 40m. Just to get things going. And a good staff? Only one type works well, LHOH, and they are... expensive.

Also, why there are no Elemental/No Imperil and Holy/Imperil in this wiki

No holy imperil: you need 0.8 prof factor. Because Holy is just so strong, because of Breached Defence, it's kind of a waste of credits to go for holy imperil. But you can use imperil if you are starting. The effect is just relatively small. So it is not recommended.

Elemental no imperil: you need 1.0 prof factor. because damage is a bit lower for elemental, this used to be not feasible, because you could only use 3 phases. Just not enough fire power to kill everything in time. Now, you can achieve 1.0 with only 1 cotton, also for elemental. And some elemental mages that are extremely strong show that it can work. Just not recommended for normal or even very strong mage players.

Relax, You won't be able to get close to 600 on any one even if you max assimilators now. Of course you still gain prof at lv500. Otherwise how are high level players gonna play other styles.

Proficiency: At level 500 you won't get any more dawn prof, though.
And the slow down if you're even a little bit ahead of your level with proficiency means you'll have a LOOOOOOT of fun grinding to 600.

You don't need 250 exp but "as much as for the previous level +250".

if you allow me, do you really need to boost your level so badly? if so, pick all your gears and forge whatever you can - cheap thiings like EDB/mitigations preferred. stop when the cost of catalysts is too high.

I wasn't going to say anything about what was going on but scremaz wanted to know what happened earlier and that's basically why I even bothered to explain.
