No, you are not wrong and imo a lower item level as your level has nothing to do with the decision soulfuse or not soulfuse. When the item is better as what you have now and you have the fragments just soulfuse. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

ehent- how complete is the forge-salvage recovery of bindings now? Because that seems a sticking point. If you spent bindings on an early piece of equipment, not as many would be willing to throw them away in getting a new, higher, item when they could be using those bindings on the new item. Especially if they're a player with low forge level.
I've been thinking about replacing my Exquisite rapier with a not-yet-bought legendary, but I don't want to toss 45 enchantment levels and whatever bindings that was. Things like catalysts can be bought at the store, and are just the price that must be paid.

And yes, Scremaz, I read the wiki. But "materials" means more than one thing, but what about the bindings? (question answered by Stu)

You get 90% of all the bindings and material back when you salvage. And of course 0% of the catalysts.

Btw post something once per day will do nothing wrong. Just post something in General Chat section. So you can get the effect you mentioned...

with 1h mage what proficiency factor should i be striving for? currently i have about 630 effective proficiency with around .32(prof factor). i know .68 is the goal but i doubt ill be able to get it without 2-3 elemental pieces.

my current gear is 2 radiants, 2 phase, and 1 elemental pants. would i be better off going a radiant/elemental split of 4/1 or 3/2?

it's on a monthly base, so you should post once per month to earn that bonus. i don't know exactly how much time is required to see the effect, but i guess tomorrow at worst

What you see here is prof factor on the x-axis, and right y-axis shows the Magic Score (metric for badassness in doing damage). The left y-axis is the turns that it took met to do a 100 round IW. Lower is better.

Conclusions & Recommendations:
1. 1h mage is a very, very good style. Normally, 100 IW PFUDOR requires scrolls and lots of curing, this way it takes a bit longer but almost no cures! 7 minutes vs. 4 minutes is the diffence in time

2. 5 phases (of which 3 radiants - I don't have any more) is worst, but soon after that it doesn't really matter. Within normal fluctuation.

I recommend to get some extra prof from cotton, but not necessarily exactly the required prof factor. For dark 0.8 would be perfect for imperil mage, but 0.6 or 0.7 seem to work just as well. For elemental, I think it is almost the same if you go 1+4 or 2+3.

Curious about why 0.8 has more turns between 0.6 and 0.9, it looks weird, maybe some bad luck?

fluctuation - maybe there was 1 more random boss-class, or the others had one more riddle...

Thats what i did. I even was using force shield from my old melee style and it still was fine.
UPD. I dont see much sense to upgrade 1h mage significantly, because it doesnt make very big clearspeed difference. I see that more like very easy and safe way to get fast clear and thats mostly pffest and iw where income damage is significant.

The Interference on Force Shield can decrease the Magic Crtict Chance and increase Mana Cost, yes, it's not a big Problem. 1H Mage doesn't need much "extra" Cost to upgrade, we can use the same Buckler with 1H-Melee, and use the same Armors with Staff, the only Forge of Weapon is really cheap.

Yes, it's not significant, that's why we can still use the same Armor with Staff.
