Edit: So, if I understand your reply correctly, further upgrades on this piece would be a waste. Also, based on your reply,

the following upgrades: Crushing Mitigation Lv.39, Slashing Mitigation Lv.39, Piercing Mitigation Lv.39, Wind Mitigation Lv.6

(in the example provided), were not cost effective and therefore should not have been done. True?

Now I get it why I so depressed when forge an exquisite rapier more than 5 (actually until lv.10 on 2 stats) and IW it myself to the MAX, then 3 days later I bought the legendary one with very reasonable price.... and IW it to MAX too....

The more, the merrier (ﾉ≧∀≦)ﾉ ‥…━━━★. Knowledgeable amphibians (⁄ ⁄>⁄ ▽ ⁄<⁄ ⁄) recommended Pen5 even for the Willow/Oak people as in a previous answer to you.

Anyway, if light set clears PFUFEST at almost 30min, a nice cool set fully forged will do in 1 hour and have DwD clear records bellow 15min according to some doujins (*/▽＼*). So a redwood is fine too.

mmm...

A lot harder. The last rounds of a 90-round IW can be as brutal as the last rounds of a grindfest. Monsters get stronger each round, up to 4x (I don't know the exact number) in the last rounds.

PFUDOR IW is the only place where i have to use cure and some other buffs (since i don't do grindfests)

Only Imperils cast against 3 targets (times with max hit of 2 or 1 because one adjacent enemy is already imperiled do not count). Also lost some counts, but these were mostly 3 hits (these ones was counting on head at start until another 2 or 1 hit came by). (ﾉ>ω<)ﾉ :｡･:*:･ﾟ’★,｡･:*:･ﾟ’☆. DwD:
3 hits: 126 times. 2 hits: 63 times. 1 hit: 16 times.
Total turns were 2897, So if I hit 3 each time I would decrease not a lot because if there is a SG around and I hit her (⁄ ⁄>⁄ ▽ ⁄<⁄ ⁄) then I might not even care about a single mon that wasn't hit. He is surely dead before the imperiled SG and only one isn't going to hurt a lot.
Also the majority of the time during the imperil phase is spent going from monster 2 to monster 5 to monster 8. Hopefully (◕‿◕) I will keybind this to the script this time. And the imperil phase itself takes WAY less time compared to the bully (*/▽＼*) phase.

For me, imperil phase takes longer than kill phase... But that's with 2 radiant phases and rest charged.

I think 30 minutes for PFfests is with gum and or vase, at least in the case of RoadShoe

For sure but if low time parties with cool equip were without gum/vase then I would be extremely Σ(°ロ°) impressed myself
