Dont be ashamed to reduce the difficulty for the dance with the dragons at least. In the end it is better to do them on a lower difficulty as just give up after a few days because it takes you forever. And i suggest also the use of infusions for the SG arenas and only imperil is not enough you should hit them at least often enough with your rapier to get at least one Penetrated Armor debuff on them.

The Legendary would be better by far, not just because of the higher stats all around but because it deals Dark damage. SG's are weak to both Holy and Dark, so if you infuse it with Holy damage it will massively improve your clear speed. If you get it to IW 10 (or just use a Voidseeker shard if you don't want to IW) you'll get Void strike too, which helps with everything. You should also put the first 5 forge levels on it since it's pretty cheap to do and has a noticeable impact.

MDB means just Magic Damage Bonus and has nothing to do with any buffs. Who told you that it could? Because he lied.

I need some advice. I can't seem to find a decent force shield of my level or close to, so...
it's a good idea to buy a legendary one with level 400+- and soulfuse it? My current shield's level is 290 and it's not even a force one. I'm already feeling the need to replace it. :/

And if it's not a bad idea what is a decent block chance? I'm using Live Percentile Ranges as a reference, I get that the more close to 100% the better, but What is the minimum acceptable?

You don't necessarily need a SDE shield. You can get it if you have the budget, but a DEA shield would also work fine, and it would be much cheaper.

For me at least the legendary force shield has S and D, then it's enough, i use SDA till now btw and it's from drop...

Don't need to be frustrated if you have no luck with drops, my best drops so far is my heavy body and shield, so we have the same luck... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Just play it casually, no need to rush to achieve something good, just play it. And when you have enough credits, then buy that SDE shield, it's worthed.... imo...
