In a battle : i casted "regen" and then i use a "health draught", does the draught add the regen effect or do nothing? Sorry, the battle log is way too long so i couldn't track it back... And, is that true that pfudor iw is harder than pfudor arena? Because i tried it just now and... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) The draught will add another health regeneration effect alongside 'Regen'. Like so, copied over just now: Regeneration restores 403 points of health. Replenishment restores 19 points of magic. Regen restores 1370 points of health.

QUOTE(igs88 @ Apr 30 2018, 10:01) And, is that true that pfudor iw is harder than pfudor arena? Because i tried it just now and... Item world monsters get 2% stronger every round, so double damage at 50 and triple damage at 100. On top of the item quality modifier which isn't on the wiki but is surely still there. Arena stays the same the entire time. Arena is a joke compared to iw.

Get used to it. PFD IW should be very easy for 1h. Better not to use haste or shadow veil in PFD IWs so you get more overcharge and more chances to cast OFC. This will increase your speed a shit ton (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) , at the cost of a few potions each run. I'm getting used to be sparked and use potions during IW, but more OFC increases your speed significantly in IW IWBTH is just to save shards since you get the first 2 potencies and you only need 1 shard to reforge. I assume you know it, but in case you don't (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) edit: That's why I said you have to get used to it. Because most 1H play with ease, and they've forgotten the day they cast heal every 2round lol. This is what I do in 60+IW, occasionally I would have to cast cure, full cure, health potion in succession. You are just having some draughts and heals since you have protections and wardings. Be aware of that mages need eve elixirs and scrolls in IW and grindfest to survive. Did you think they have zero problem with survival? No, they are harder than you did they just faster they've got used to heals, elixirs and scrolls... This post has been edited by -vincento-: May 1 2018, 01:32

I got all cure and draughts casted since round 40 and above and the welcomes attacks were very "nice and warm" and so damn hard (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) But at least i got something for sure, iw service is very very important (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)

For arena? I think you can mangage pfudor arena without charged. But you will be faster with each. My end-game cold build was: 3 charged 2 radiants for arena, 4 charged 1 radiant for pffest. And that was very, very fast in non-SG arena.

I am curious what staff cold/fire mages are supposed to use? There are two options, redwood and willow staff. But both have problems, in which willow has no extra arctic and fire EDB bonus, and redwood has no counter-resist.

Redwood of destruction is their best option. You have alternatives like fiery/arctic oak of focus, fiery/arctic willow, Elementalist and EDB redwood but they are noticeably worse. This post has been edited by Piscolabis: May 1 2018, 12:22

I don't see why would one chose a fiery/arctic willow, since a willow has absolutely no affinity with those two elements.
