In my case (crystarium 1) it took 30 minutes, i played arenas from 1 to 4 (5 rounds to 25 rounds i guess) then when i played 100 rounds arena, i got 6x crystal of xxxx in drops...

I noticed that the lottery page says "you can also spend a Golden Lottery Ticket to add 100 tickets".

However when I go to "Character --> Item Inventory" and mouse over the Golden Lottery Ticket it instead says "Use this ticket on a lottery to add 1000 tickets".

The wiki agrees with the lottery page and says its 100 tickets.

I'm not sure which one is correct. Is the ticket's mouse-over text a typo? Or is the lottery page text a typo?

Jokes apart, those kind of lazy users have always been and there will always be. As far as I can see, guys (and you yourself) tend to explicitly specify when your auction is actually an option, but ultimately it's user's choice which service to pick...

This question is from the system discussion. What does a GLT do, exactly?

A GLT adds 100 tickets and doubles your tickets up to 10% of the total amount all members have bought.

IE: If you buy 19,900 tickets, and spend a GLT, it will give you 100 tickets and show you have bought 20,000 tickets.
If you buy 20,000 tickets, and spend a GLT, you will lose the extra 100 ticket bonus.

If only 200,000 total tickets have been bought by all members, including yourself, then you have 20,000 tickets.

If 240,000 tickets have been bought by all members, including yourself, then you have 24,000 effective tickets.
If 360,000 tickets have been bought by all members, including yourself, then you have 36,000 effective tickets.
This holds true up to 400,000 total tickets bought, where you will max out at 40,000 tickets.
Note: It will still only show 20,000 on the lottery page.

Now here's the important bonus part:

And this bonus part has been verified by 10b.

If you opt out of the peerless weapon/Armor to only go for the other prizes, that max 40,000 is multiplied by 1.2
But the 10% rule is still in effect.

IE -> If a total of 480,000 tickets have been sold overall, then you have 48,000 tickets for the other prizes.
Of course, if only 440,000 tickets have been sold overall, then you have 44,000 tickets for the other prizes.

If there are less than 200,000 tickets sold to all members, do not use a GLT.
Unless you know it's going to go through the roof later as in a PHOH auction or close equivalent.

Of course, if it's a PHOH auction, the GLT user is wasting his time.

EDIT: All of this is assuming a GLT user is going to max his tickets at 19,900 when he uses a GLT.

If you're not using a GLT, are you still capped at 10% of the total ticket pool? Like if 10,000 tickets are currently in the drawing, can I buy 10,000 myself and have a 50% chance of winning?

Should I SOULFUSE it? I don't think I will be getting a better weapon (legendary or peerless) soon, plus I rock Niten Ichiryu, and katanas are stupid expensive and rares.

The 3 PABs and the 315 potency tier make me think that it may be pre 0.82 equipment, which isn't as good as the current equipment. Do you have the katana's id, or a link to the katana?

It's not as bad as I thought. The damage is at the current level for an exquisite. STR and AGI are at current superior level, but you get both of them. DEX is at current mag level. The accuracy and crit chance are only at current fair, though.

1H heavy? I thought I should change to a pure Mage build. Can you explain why 1H heavy? I suppose it's to block and tank damage.

It's very hard to go mage under lvl 300 as:
- you haven't gotten all the abilities needed for maging
- likely impossible to get your hands on any decent mage equipment at your level

I think it's for increased defense as the mobs get stronger at higher levels. The game was different when I was that level, so I'm not sure. Some people DW at higher levels, so you might want a response from them. Most people don't recommend mage until at least 320, and many wait until later than that.

yeah, Dual Wield will work as well now, but still not as good as 1h heavy. You can go for Rapier, or Shortsword, or if you can't find anything else, use an axe. You will be fastest between lv 200 and 350, because of high block from a good shield.

Yeah. Agreed on all points. I'm comfortable DW with a set of Cloth Armor right now. But I'll try to see if 1H+Heavy helps me last longer or if it's easier. I really thought that I should start doing mageing because I could clear an entire set of mobs with 2 fiery blast, but my mana doesn't last long.

And can you guys estimate a price if I wish to sell that katana?

That one is pre-0.82 trash. You can find better Exquisite even in the FreeSHop. I bet I even have some Magnificent around your level in my shop or auctions.
