1. At what point should I repair equipment? At 50% condition, or some other level?

2. What stat distribution is recommended for 1H? I currently have:

3. What equipment is recommended to go for at the Shrine? I tried 1H weapon a couple times, trying to get a rapier, but I kept getting clubs and axes. Also, on a related note, what's the preferred 1H weapon?

1. Assuming you plan to continue using it - before it hits 50% because you'll be playing with degraded stats until you repair it.

2. Assuming 1H Heavy

STR=DEX=END, WIS 3-4 times lower in EXP price, AGI=current level, INT = 0 (can leftover EXP for extra spirit points)

3. Preferred is rapier. Shortsword is almost the same, but have to cast imperil, same with axe but you have to be tanky enough to compensate no parry bonuses. Club is ok, but eventually falls short in clear times. Wakizashi is the worst, but at the start can be better if quality or level is considerably higher.

Tbf it's probably better to sell trophies if you aren't playing isekai unless you really desperate to roll for better gear (you can find newbie giveaways on WTS)

These two threads have most of the answers you might be seeking.

I would probably just sell trophies and rent equipment if I were you.

Strength/Dexterity -> Endurance -> Wisdom/Agility (no Agility later on) -> Intelligence.

I usually just repair around 85%.

You wish either a Rapier or a Shortsword with the "of Slaughter" suffix. Personally, I prefer the Shortsword + Imperil for normal arenas.

sometimes when i activate/deactivate it, it doesn't work and the text turns blue.

I don't know the answer, but it happens to me too. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

it happen usually when I play DW, sometimes because low SP, sometimes because bad internet connection, sometimes because I toggle before the previous action done. for the first case it show the reason in the battle log and does cost you one turn, for other case the toggle doesn't really apply to server, use Impulse function in monsterbation to queue the toggle may help

well.... no? It depends.

You will need to work toward a prof factor of 1.0. For this, you'll need the prof perk. And build up proficiency. Training Assimilator is needed. Then realistically, prof of 525-550 is achievable in reasonable time. Then you'll have to do the math, with help of a forge calculator (see sig of mathl33t). Calculate which slots and and how much base prof is enough. Then you know. It's not wise to just buy some good prof pieces and hope for the best. Holy mage is tricky to get right.

Is this necessary?

It's a good piece of gear so if you expect to hit max level soon and already have decent staff and phase for other slots it's reasonable. If not and you expect to buy a decent radiant set later than this purchase is the least of your concerns.

Sure, the progress will be much slower, and much more stamina will be consumed per potency tier. But the latter does not really matter, since I rarely have time to play long enough to cause major stamina drops. Anything else?

Worse (read no) item drops. (Almost) No experience either. Otherwise, does not really matter that much.

If you don't care about drop quality, but do care about time spent, try IW on Normal difficulty. In Isekai, Normal and Hard have the same potency gain as Nightmare, and it's faster.

We would need more data, but it could well be that the magnificent factors are wider than 2.2-2.5
what would be the factor that would result in the correct number of scraps for this particular magnificent? In the release notes I don't see anything mentioned about this factor, but it could be I just didn't find it. More likely, the factor was never confirmed by tenboro and just calculated.

OK, I see. thx for replying.
So maybe I should simply assume it's 1.9 which leads to 12 scraps since 2.0/1.8 makes it 11/13.
BTW, in case anyone is confused, I just found that in the screenshot my excel sheet was showing rounded integers instead of decimals, but I've checked it didn't affect the calculations.
