Dear forumites,

I have a question about monster gifts and hope you can enlighten me.
I just received a notification that two of my monsters brought gifts. According to the log there are 2 items (materials) and 110 credits in total. I assume the materials are placed into my inventory (which I can't confirm, because I don't know the number of such items I had before getting the gift). However, I'm pretty sure that I didn't get the credits. At least they weren't added to my credit wallet (which was at 0, so it was very obvious) and they don't show up in the credit log either.

Do I have to do something to actually get the gifts?
Or is there something I overlooked?

I guess that's the sum of the gifts if you sell them.

You have to manually update the numbers inside the HV Utils script in order to have a better estimated sell price though.

Ah, that makes sense. I just checked the "materials pirces" list and the value of the two items I got adds up to 110 credits, like you said.

You might want to set the price of materials to their daily/weekly average, otherwise they might be rather misleading whenever you receive gifts from your monsters or compare the salvage to sell prices in the Bazaar.

what can i do to increase the chance of my spell hitting the targets ?
i use focus to increase the chances but i was wondering if there are stats i can raise or trainings i can do specificly as well .
the spell i am using is weaken (maxxed out)
since weaken is not an offensive spell i am unsusre if investing points in intelligence would help.

Yes it would (but Wisdom, not Intelligence) along with the Aether Shard consumable material.
Character Stats
Small issue though. That only affects monster's chance to evade your spell. They can also resist them. Which you can only counter with a potency on your staff. Item World

Worry not, my friend, you are not alone : ). If you are not playing with a rapier; use Imperil as well. Buy some equipment from the auction or from the various stalls using the smartsearch script. There are also these wikipedia articles, a bit outdated, but they might be able to help you.

Can I ask what you use as a shield? Generally with a good shield (with block forged) you should not need to use weaken much (only for the tower in isekai and the end of legendary item Worlds or Grindfest)

Physical build are pretty bad at casting spells in general, so deprecating spell are not very reliable in my experience, and block and parry are very useful.

Feel free to ask here or using a private message, for while I would not consider myself a technical wizard; I was able to somehow set up the scripts to work, and now, even attempting to imagine clearing mine arenas without the "hover" function gives me "day-time" nightmares.

10-15 min? should be doable with 1h as well, but as always, if it is speed you want, go mage.

My current Dual Wield setup does DWD in 19 minutes. With some upgrades (weapons mainly) I should be able to get to around 15 minutes; the aforementioned equipment changes are going to happen in 12 levels. Anything faster than that would require significant investment (Bindings of Slaughter). Light armour is quite cheap; so much so that you can occasionally buy "of the Shadowdancer" pieces in the Bazaar.

I don't think monsterbation need hvut to work.
check if you have enable the userscript permission or enable the developer mode as it's required in new chromium based broswer

i in fact use a rapier xD tried a short sword for a while but with inferior results, despite the stats of the weapons being nearly the same .

the wiki is sometmes confusing as well when it comes to the structure categorizing. been looking for a certain info a while back and found it coincidentally days later when looking for something else in a category where i did never expected to find it
