You really want to play in the PFUDOR difficulty, first and foremost. That expedites your progress significantly. Also, I can do every single arena and still end up with stamina to spare, only reason I can think of for you running out is the penalty from "failing" to properly identify the Ponies during the RiddleMaster's challenge.

I did the math, and it should take ~15 Stamina for my Arenas at my level at >59 Stamina (~10 at <=59), so you are most probably right that I had messed up RiddleMaster.

I'm on Hell, and I found Nintendo doable in <50 round battles, but IWBTH or PFUDOR I can't handle atm. Somehow I hadn't even thought that the higher the difficulty, the higher the progress, but it makes perfect sense, duh.

It's the same for me. I intended to item world my next weapon, but after some testing I realized that I need 36 stamina just to get from IW1 to IW2. (I need roughly 360 points from IW1 to IW2. I get 40 points per match. 1 match on that weapon has 30 rounds which costs 4 stamina. This is on Hell difficulty. I assume I could get more points per match on Nintendo difficulty but can't survive for 30 rounds on that difficulty with my current abilities.)
Guess I will continue for a few more days to see if I manage to get out of red stamina and just give up if I can't.

You should be getting 210 Potency XP per 30-round battle on Hell (30x7), and it would cost 0.6-0.9 Stamina without RiddleMaster penalty, unless my math is off. The pony game gets easier with time (I'm without penalty now so I must have gotten rid of it yesterday), so hang in there.

I Would not call it a "skill issue" rather a gear issue. A set of magnificent/exquisite(with decent affixes) gear gets you through PFUDOR. Fortunately the rental shop offers exactly that. Also, do not forget about infusions and other consumables such as the Voidseeker Shard. Use the auto-cast slots if you have not been doing that already.

These two scripts are your friends. Key-bindings and whatnot. Alongside the smartsearch script that should be enough for the game not to feel like slog.

You can tell if you have messed up the Riddle by hovering over your stamina bar. If it is red and says, you have a penalty by the Riddlemaster, then well...you do (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif).

Using Imperil/Weaken/Sleep is almost mandatory depending on your build. Do not forget to slot in and upgrade your supportive abilities. I for sure did a while ago : ).

I would strongly advice against playing mage until you are around 350 levels deep into the game. Instead, use the Rental Shop to power through PFUDOR (Dual Wield or One handed + shield) and perhaps acquire some of the mage pieces yourself then buy the rest from the WTS section or Super's auction. Mage gear is expensive. Personally, do not think that either one of those pieces is worth soulfusing.

welcome to the game! We can offer you some guidance, if you want
- First: never play on normal. That is a waste of time and not needed. Even without equipment, Hell is possible.
- Look at the WTS section of the forum: there is a rental service that has great equipment for low levels
- Sorry, but mage build is not great at low level. It's kinda bad. Better to play 1h + shield, or dual wield.
- After level 310, then mage becomes possible to play comfortable. Before that's it's so hard it's not fun at all
- finally, there are many players that can help low level players on the unofficial discord

Yes it matters.
What to look for in term of survavibility on equipment:
Damage (Power in the name)
Physical Mitigation
Crushing Damage Mitigations (Majority of monsters use crushing)
I would say the low level one is actually better because it has "of protection" ("of slaughter">"of balance">"of protection"~ "of dampening"; the first two are for power equipments only.)

A few points of strength won't make much of a difference, the other lines of stats are actually bait. The biggest upgrade you can use right now is to use power equipments (maybe one piece of "shielding" for survivability, it gives block which is OP), you should probably head there and ask for a set:

Don't go in a fight without an enchant on your weapon with Voidseeker's Blessing + 2 Infusion. They're pretty cheap.

For weapon and shield you're looking for parry/block in priority for 1H. (Rapier>Shortsword, Force shield) Set all you can in auto-cast slots in the settings, don't forget to slot your abilities and up with this priority
one handed-> general ~= Heavy armor (HP) -> deprecating (Imperil from the moment you have it & if you use it) -> supportive (all you use, ) -> Heavy armor crush damage mitigations lv1 or 2 -> rest of deprecating spells you use -> Heavy armor
Stats points:
About 1 in each except wisdom (about 0.8) and intel (0.8-0.6, it's still decent early on)

Consider training in a few ability points. xp/loot are also very good early on.
Use Draughts (permanently under draughts is good) /potions /Elixirs if needed.
Use spirit stance, turn it off when OverCharge is low (when you're high level enough you don't even need to turn it off anymore)

With that you should get to nightmare as a minimum. You can also refer to the second message of this thread by Noni with plenty of nice advices.

I remember someone posted a rundown of the experience the various isekai arenas gives you, I think Basara did it, but I can't find it anymore, nor do I remember what thread it was posted in. I roughly know which ones to do to gain the most experience, but today I'm curious about the exact number.

(I have to choose only 1 arena today because I did too much item world recently and am pooped out stamina, so have to sacrifice more arenas).

Just to put it in perspective at 545 prof with 15 assimilator, full adept learner, all exp hath perks and award I get 0,024 prof per SPL (500 arena) run. At this point it makes sense to prioritize your IRL goals (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

The way that I think of it, is that it is okay that the proficiency reaches 600 so slowly (in my case, there is no way I would ever get close). It's like 600 is the possible end of your lifespan (in that particular weapon style). So you want to stretch out the end when you are at 99.999% full power performance anyway, and at least have some theoretical goal or improvement remaining.

After you reach the end then you will be dead like how Spawn went from 9999 to 0 then he will die, except I think eventually they kind of don't care about that anymore. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

depends on your prof. I'd suggest you use a forge calculator (mathl33t has made one for instance) to calculate if you can use pants.

Heavily depends on luck but year would be a fair estimate.

Would a fifteen-minute-long "A Dance With Dragons" in Isekai using One-Handed plus power armour be considered fast or slow? I am playing Dual Wield in Persistent, so I have no comparison of my own, especially considering the 50% less life of system monster in Isekai.

Thank you, Basara Nekki, for the answer. I was just wondering if I were not lagging behind too much with Tower taking around 19 minutes now. Still missing a "Power" helmet, using a horribly rolled "Shielding" legendary in the meantime.

Edit: Cannot really help you here, the linked item displays all the stats normally. Perhaps attach an "in-game" screenshot before and after equipping it and leave it here for someone smarter than me.

Edit2: That appears to be correct. Your previous shield had Strength and Dexterity. Your new one has both of those and the Endurance stat on top of that. Mayhap I am simply not seeing it though, someone else might comment and correct me.

I think this time in Isekai is very good. I am taking 20 ~ 21 minutes on average, also using 1H.

It is not really possible to compare the performance in Isekai with the Persistent.

In Persistent, I usually do DwD between 11 and 12 minutes. This considering I have a complete set of Peerless Power Slaughter, full forged, and DD9.
