Yep, its mostly same as ordinary mage. There are few differences:

1. As mentioned, it can use ofc from time to time.
2. Its better to use 5 phases set without any cloth prof.
3. Better to use elemental style, because holy and dark has only 25 points imperil (and we dont use prof items).

Reason for that is lack of staff which already has quite big amount of damage and prof. So instead 4+1 set we have to use 3+2 for 0,7 prof and dropping even more damage isnt worth. But thats mostly all, playstyle is same as ordinary mage.

You use only spell atack. No whacking, and only because of shield block you can use OFC sometimes. It's fun playstyle, mainly because it shouldn't work but it does. And you build up lots of elemental prof.

No, main weapon is gonna be smth like waki of nimble or maybe battlecaster, you only care about parry. You will have low str too, so your main attack gonna be weak anyway. Weapon and shield is just for survivability - you block, parry, stun some enemies with counterattack.

Yes, the ADB on your Waki of Battlecaster does not matter at all. The EDB is what you want as high as possible. And parry, that too.

The buckler should be Barrier preferably, combined with a waki of battlecaster with high EDB. All phases are fine for 1h mage. That's the fun thing: simple cheap phases will do.

Adding OFC to your rotation improves clear time significantly.

Well, I've tried kyouri's Advice about using OFC and it saves me about 600 Turns in PFUDOR Fest so I think ADB may help a little, and after my first Try with OFC I IWed my Wakizashi for Butcher lv5 and forged its ADB to level 5.

p.s. I think we should still use 1H Damage Ability.

The only data I have is the Item Shop buy price, should I sell it there (which I won't do, obviously).

In case you don't know, for the Silver Coupon it is 400c, exactly double than a Broken Glass (200c), and quite less then a Unicorn Horn (1000C).

Those however are comparatively easy to acquire in numbers, all that want one just have to do arenas. I would think that rarity effect should add some value, perhaps (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I had -it had been a while ago- the same thought. But i guess you will only find a buyer who will shrine it and for him does not matter how rare it is, only how much credits he get for the FoS and FoS does also not care about rarity. But maybe it could be worth more for an collector, but my guess would be, that for those there are too many of them out there every month. So i would not count on rarity effect for the value. So it's actually a very good spell for late Pfest rounds right mmm...~?

Personally i thought of it allways kind of useless because it "Cannot absorb critical hits" aka those i would actually care to be absorb about. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
