How long could it take to dig out of a stamina penalty hole?

When I first started I didn't know if I got ponies wrong I would get a penalty. Thought it would just make me do it again like a typical captcha...

study the pony chart (it's on the wiki). Then if you play a lot and depending on how bad your penalty is it can take anywhere between 10 days and 2 months.

2 months? Geez that's ages. Most of the time I don't find it hard but when they have massive overlap it feels impossible. Wiki says iya6better to leave it out than guess? Feels so counter intuitive

i have bad news for you:

QUOTE
The level of obfuscation (blobbiness and graininess, making ponies less clearly visible) increases with your level and how much you've played recently.

at level 132 you haven't seen the worst of it.

also, as you said, better not guess the ones you are not sure of:

QUOTE
Selecting a pony that is not in the picture will count more severe towards a penalty than missing one pony - so when in doubt, best not to guess but leave one blank

Okay, that makes sense. I'll grind out what I need in the meantime, but man Nintendo feels so easy now. What levels are recommended for the last two difficulties?

On Isekai, i think i IWBTH around 150-200 don't remember exactly, PFUDOR 245+ playing 1H + Heavy Gear.

it's nice. 100k-250k or so? Hard to predict accurately though. you could use it yourself to start a mage build around it. Will work for quite a while before you'd want a better one.

magnificent or even exquisite will work as well, mind you. Cheaper to forge those as well. Why does everyone think the game is unplayable unless you have legendary? Just mediocre magnificents will speed your Schoolgirl arena's up quite a bit with that staff. Forging the staff is relatively cheap, but again that doesn't be perfrect directly.

Maybe it's good to start IW the staff first? Try to get some Penetrator on it. Perfection would be Pen5Spel4, but again... the game works without perfection.

I don't where to put this as I consider it a bug, but I doubt it will ever change.

TOPIC: Fighting Style: Staff (crushing)

1. Staff can also be Piercing damage type (end of staff pointed, usually bottom; sometimes spear tip)

2. Staff can also Block. But with HV Fighting Style: Staff, the Defense states 0% block chance.

. _ As a staff can: strike (crush), thrust (pierce), pole-vault (evade/dodge), pivot, parry, and block.

Just search: "can a staff be used to block and parry" and see [facts.net] Facts about quarterstaff

Personally, I study and practice martial arts, specifically; traditional Gung Fu style of Wing Chung.
Of which I love and have somewhat mastered its staff forms. I strength train with a 6ft steel 30lbs Pry bar; one end is pointed for piercing, the other end flattened, curved and sharpened for slashing.
see: [www.pollardwater.com] 6' Steel Prybar? after working with that, when I pick up a traditional competition staff; it now feels like a toothpick. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

BTW: My hand made 6' x 2" diameter oval oak walking staff, has a 3/4" steel spike in the bottom and a 4" long rounded blade on the other end.

So in conclusion,
I hope that HV can give the Staff fighting style a Blocking chance.

Someday maybe even attack options: how to use it; how to strike! Like choosing spells:
1. Crushing, 2. Piercing, 3. Slashing.

Thanks for your time and hope you enjoy the discussion.

Greeting Master Experts

or as I'd like to call because you not EXperts you're Master Spurts. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Anyway,

TOPIC: Cotton vs Phase

Since Crystallized Phazon is so rare and excessively expensive; I'd rather spend 300k's on upgrades, than thousands to millions purchasing of a phase equip and millions more upgrading it.

For example here is my existing shoes, the only non-phase clothes I wear; compared to a phase that the seller wants 300k for.

Magnificent Frugal Cotton Shoes of The Elementalist

or

Magnificent Phase Shoes of Mjolnir

Do you agree or disagree?

Thanks for your spurts. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

you need proficiency. So I wouldn't swap your only elementalist for a phase, no.

That choice of giving staffs a crushing basic attack was most likely purely for game mechanic. You know, to create some basic diversity in playstyles there.
Because honestly, if we were to get really nitpicky about the weapons, you could arguably put at least bleed, parry, block, and multiple basic attack types on all weapons since you can use them all like this or that.

The way I'd interpret the choice would be that we're pretty much just talking about the cliché crooked mage stick, ripped straight off the big magic tree; and it is used mainly because the character's back isn't what it used to be, while they sling all their magic spells. If they run out of magic, well they desperately deliver a few "screw off! stay back!" BONKs until they can go abracadabra again.

Thanks for bringing up this topic, I was clueless. It really sucks because I have poor vision and have to use Screen Magnifier on top of my 2x reading glasses to try to make a good guess.

I just checked my Stamina and I need a little blue pill. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
"You have increased stamina drain due to low riddle accuracy"
I love the little ponies, but can we have an option for trivia or something for people with poor vision?

In the mean time I'll study, study, study the ponies chart:

Legendary if you can survive easily.
Correct Prefix and suffix can beat at least 2 qualities diff based on my experience

Is there a specific pattern to how soul fragments drop? sometimes when I keep playing on PFUDOR, they hardly drop, but switching to IWBTH or Nintendo seems to make them drop a few times

I don't think it's related to the difficulty, it should only related to how many Random Encounters you play every day. if you play all 24 REs, then the drops chance should round to about 50% or about 60 fragments per day, and if you play less, you will get less total drop but the chance will increase, until 100% drop chance if you play only 1 RE per day
