So I just tried the End of Days Arena and it's like, kinda taking forever to clear it with the schoolgirls as a 1h.

Current diff is IWTBH, should I go down? Or does it normally take forever? Maybe its my equipment? I've just been using what I've picked up from drops.

Should I switch to mage at this point? I don't wanna spend over half an hour on 1 arena...

weak equip, at your level it is advisable to already have magnificent gear
or at least exquisite weapon with prefix and exqusite powers, not plate

also repair needed, don't play with 60% condition

Good equips are kind of expensive though, especially at this level where you can outgrow them. Unless I rent them but some of them are like 8000 credits a week. Should I just hold out for better drops or bite the bullet?

expensive but you don't need good at your level, just (better than garbage) suitable for a start
like any exqusite power would be a serious improvement over your 197 level Superior Plate Greaves

now it may be bad advice, but if it’s really bad with equipment of your level, then try to shrine a couple of noodles
but this is gambling

Ok, I would try to keep STR and DEX on the same level (about 260?), then END could stay (about 250). WIS is good (same as player level). INT and AGI -- personally I had it on 0 until recently, when I started to upgrade INT to get "free" spirit points. So, maybe you can try to lower AGI and put it into STR/DEX/END.

In abilities, you can try to learn "better shadow veil" + use "flame spike shield". Then some deprecating spells, depends on your ability points (better and faster weaken, better and faster imperil > mind control, silence).

Btw, do you have protection / haste / spirit shield / spark / shadow veil slotted in settings?


Equips, yeah, these are just too weak, but it depends on your possibilities (credits). You should really aim to get power armor and of slaughter weapon with force shield . Ideally in higher rank (legendary, magnificent at least). But it can take time.

Also it is good to upgrade equips once you are comfortable with them (I aim primary for damage and parry, on shield you need to max block and IW10 weapon for void damage and second attack (but I would wait for better one).

obviously first, etheral doesn't compensate difference in quality and missing dex pab

What is the Catalyst quality requirement for forging tied to? I though it was purely gear tier (Superior, Exquisite, Magnificent etc.). But I noticed I have a Magnificent cotton robe in Isekai that requires Regular Catalysts on 0-13 while all the other Magnificents in the set require Diluted.

Equipment quality is a range, really, not a single rank.

no it's like the material grade requirement: when the stat gets forged higher, the grade and catelyst required increase.

Material Costs

Equipment with PXP0 < 313 start out at 6 low-grade materials, PXP0 from 313 to 335 at 4 low/2 mid, PXP0 from 336 to 348 at 2 low/4 mid, and PXP0 > 348 at 6 mid. PXP0 is the Item World Potency Experience required to go from potency tier 0 to potency tier 1.

You are by far most likely to see this with Magnificent as the common PXP0 range of Magnificent covers the two middle tiers, while the common range of lesser quality equips covers only the lowest tier and the common range of Legendaries covers the highest tier.
For obsolete equipment the whole thing goes out the window as this Superior Kevlar Gauntlets of Protection has a high enough PXP0 to require 4 low/2 mid despite only being Superior.
