Not sure If I understand it correctly.
Intelligence does not affect the amount of hp recovered from regen and cure
If you mean attributes, you shouldn't keep a certain attribute too low when you play as melee.
The exp you need to invest grow exponentially. Level up 1 point from 200-201 might let you level up 50 point from 100-150
Total attribute points contributes to the regeneration of spirit
Keep unnecessary attributes relatively low to your main attributes

thanks

Good afternoon (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ,

1] My stats, equipment and abilities:

Attached Image Attached Image Attached Image
My staff: Exquisite Tempestuous Redwood Staff Of Destruction

2] My question:

Shall I stick to mage fighting-style?
Or maybe I'd better change to melee style?

I‘ve been a wind-mage since LV20. Now LV293. It's really too hard to level up and too painful to survive. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)
It seems that it will take forever for me to reach LV310.
I wonder what's wrong. Is there any problem with my mage set?

I've hardly tried melee. Perhaps I should have?

These two are my available options now. One-handed and two-handed:

I think it is good idea to try melee. Mage is considered strong, but when you are high level and with a lot of resources. Easiest would be changing to 1h heavy: buy legendary rapier of slaughter - those go starting from 50k on shops, force shield, any legendary power (slaughter is preferable, but non slaughter is really affordable) and get to 400+ level. It is not impossible or wrong to play with light armor, but really, heavy is easier. It is simply very, very survival. Usually you can instantly change to pfudor with just some legendary plate pieces thrown in. And you want power pieces and rapier of slaughter to make arenas to be at least slightly faster.
And past 400-450 you can restart maging. Mage style needs a lot of credits spent on good equipment pieces and upgrades, but it is really rewarding in improving speed. Playing with exquisite/magnificent is doesn't give enough of damage to kill monsters before they hit you too much.

1. If you want to keep playing mage, you need to equip 'elementalist' cottons. at least 2. Because your proficiency is way too low. But it's much better to level up to 310 first, so you can use imperil on everything. Which makes mage much easier and faster.

2. best advice: go play 1h + shield until level 310. Get a shield with highest block you can find. Forge block to at least 5, higher if you can afford it. Get a weapon with a better suffix if you can: slaughter, ballance, nimble. Rapier is best at your level. but I wouldn't say no to a shortsword. Never play on lower difficulty than Nintendo, as 1h. Use slow/blind/sleep/weaken if needed. Weaken is best, but only when available of course.

3. Don't use 2h style. It sucks at your level.

To Wraithtouch:

Thank you for your quick and detailed advice! (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I'll try 1H-Heavy and take my time to get used to it.
Though, legendary would be only a dream for casual player like me.
Still, I'll see what I can get in shop and forum.

Cheers!

To Noni:

Thank you!

Proficiency. Never realized how much I need it.
For years I had kept ignoring elementalist suffix, only pursued Freyr and put all into wind SDB—in vain!
Woe is me. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif)

It's a shame that I have never played on Nintendo.
As a mage, the best I could reach is Hell, with the help of Imperil and Weaken.

Time to change. I'll go play 1H-Shield now. Never too late to learn.
I just created a new persona. Ready to start over.

Thanks again for your practical advice!(IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

the dragons don't drop anything special. It's the schoolgirl trophies that you collected on the way to them, that's the value. TT&T, 10 token RoB, not worth it unless you have a shitload of blood tokens that you won't use otherwise. It's a bit more that just the noodly, but just grinding the noodly for 5 tokens is way better.

Edit: yeah 30 min is quite decent. Room for improvement for sure, but that gives your something to work on.

im scared to change my stats distribution. Do you think i should redistribute them?
Attached ImageAttached Image
Im not using too many resources with that build just the mana+health draught always active. Spirit draught when half bar and the occasionally pot in emergency cases (few times like cure or full cure in cooldown)

Thanks for all your kind help people.

Hello, I would like to ask if the negative effect of the pony's stamina consumption will disappear over time. I have been waiting for several days and the pony buff has not disappeared. I played 85 rounds of the arena with 12 points of stamina. Also, I want to ask, for a weapon that has already reached iw10 and has void damage, will it still be effective if I use the enchanted void fragment?

I don't know. Everyone says play more, be more accurate. It will disappear. Just keep playing
Yes, but you only gain benefit from accuracy then.

I just have my first PL750 monster. And I want to remind myself when I see it
I know there is a function "monster keywords" in Monsterbation but I don't know how to setup it
I tried with RE monster name but did not work. My example format is
CODE

/(Karen Kaede|Schwarz)/

Anyone knows how to setup?

I just figure out why. I need to setup before I encounter the monster not after
That's why my setup with RE monsters didn't work

Q1: Is there any equipment guide? Like what the names mean?

Q2: Whats the best type of staff you can recommend for the element electricity

Q3: Is there any specific tree of magic you recommend to pursue

Q4: Is there a guide on what each stat does and the significance of their effects

This page on the wiki shows the effects of quality, prefixes and suffixes. (There's also a more basic page for definitions.)

For your other questions, I wrote a guide to mage equipment.

You may also want to refer to the Character Stats wiki page for an explanation of how some stats work.

Agility is an important defensive stat for most players, and Bindings of the Cheetah upgrade it.
