I appreciate the raw data, but I'm not sure how to translate it into an answer to a question like, am I more likely to get sparked during the GF using one staff over the other?
My main concern isn't really speed, since I don't feel there's a huge amount of speed to be gained at this point in the journey, but somewhat optimising elixir usage/staying alive. Just kinda kills the vibe when I'm out of elixirs and I get sparked. I guess thanks to RNG I'm technically never 100% safe... But still, peerless willow > peerless redwood for staying alive/elixir usage?
Very useful to have the raw data though, so thank you for that.

If staying alive is the key concern, I would go for charged + willow. Especially for GF. Usually killing regular mobs isn't the bottleneck, it's landing imperil and sparking, so higher counter-resist + faster cast speed helps.

The Mage Equipment Guide says that elemental mages want their proficiency factor to be as close to 0.79 as possible without going too far over. Why shouldn't you go too far over? Do you start losing damage at this point?

Can someone tell me why Last Elixirs go for less than Spirit Elixirs on the market? Aren't those all 3 elixirs rolled into one?

max mit is 75%. IMP reduce 40, 0.79 PF reduce the rest. Any further PF has only effect on counter-resist. If you put too much power on gaining PF, you lose power on the other aspects, which means losing damage.

scroll: cost you 25% base SP and give you 50% HP when triggered spell: cost you 50% base SP and give you 1 HP when triggered

So what, the "casts the spell at max proficiency" description is a lie? It actually casts an incomparably better version of the spell instead? This post has been edited by Ser6IjVolk: Oct 29 2024, 15:49

i was wondering, does the content become easier as you gain levels or does it scale with you?
are dark/holy strikes potencies on weapons straight better than elemental? i assume so because of the existence of dark/holy imperil support abilities.

Content scales with you, but you still become relatively stronger because on top of your XP-purchased attribute growth, your equipment and proficiencies improve and you get new or improved abilities and spells, so yes, it becomes easier. Dark/Holy is objectively best for Arena, because Schoolgits have no Holy/Dark mitigation, but worse for all other types of content because Imperil with the Holy/Dark mitigation ability slotted only reduces the mitigation for those elements by 25% while it's 40% for the four other elements.

The wiki is a good source of information for newcomers, i advice to give it a read https://ehwiki.org/wiki/StaminaBasically it's 0.02 per round if stamina<60 and 0.03 otherwise and grindfest costs 1 stamina for the entry while the stamina for Item World is consumed upfront. The effects given by scrolls are always better than the best spell version you can cast. See the wiki for exact numbers.

QUOTE(Wivers @ Oct 29 2024, 19:59) How would you say these 2 equipments compare: Legendary Charged Cotton Gloves of the ElementalistLegendary Jade Cotton Gloves of the Elementalistis having the casting speed bonus better than the rest of the stats being stronger? Yeah, if you want to reduce the chance of death. Casting Speed is a defensive thing, not a offensive thing like most games. Cloth armor can never really gain enough defensive stats since it has abysmal Slash/Pierce/Crush mitigations, so it's a great thing, especially if you can't afford to max out upgrades (to max out Physical Mitigation %+, Evasion, Crushing Mitigation as much as possible). Mage builds really aren't recommended unless you're rich as fuck btw, it's not just needing to inject mana potions directly into your veins on cooldowns, it's that they have a hard time surviving until their gear is maxed out, unlike Heavy Armor that is okay even without upgrades. Go look at the cost of cloth upgrades, lol. This post has been edited by FruitSmoothie: Oct 29 2024, 20:17

Is this shield decent for my level? And should I soulfuse it or no? Magnificent Force Shield of WardingEDIT: Probably shouldn't have forged it before looking for a better one, my logic was 100k total is worth taking 15% less damage This post has been edited by Here Come Dat Boi: Oct 29 2024, 22:10

Magnificent Force Shield of WardingEDIT: Probably shouldn't have forged it before looking for a better one, my logic was 100k total is worth taking 15% less damage It's pretty bad but better than nothing, it has 11% block only and is "of Warding". You can get a better one here until you find a good one yourself: https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?showtopic=273752 (Actually since yours is crafted you probably should keep it but not worth the soulfuse) Also check the equipment shop, It sometime has good force shields.
