QUOTE(VawX @ Mar 29 2018, 05:27) Ah, not that one but the one from trophies, that's drop rate from monsters right mmm...~?
IIRC every trophy has a 0.1% chance of giving a peerless, but I have no idea where I heard it or if it's still true.

well. If you go take a look at shrine histories some players shrined, you know the probability is totally overestimated. You won't get one peerless even if you shrine thousands of noodlies (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

QUOTE(SuperShiny @ Mar 29 2018, 05:27) Why do some people run free shop? I think it is harsh job and demanding. I really thank them, but why?
Because they are nice guys? Because they want to help this community, by helping new players? Because someone asked them to, nicely? And yeah, a big Thank You! to the FS runners! This post has been edited by DJNoni: Mar 29 2018, 07:44

And he only got one peerless power (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) . So I guess peerlesses only start to appear for tier8+ trophies. The possibility that low tier trophies get a peerless shall be ignored Experts, how is LDKD compared to LDWD? Also I see people have different opinions on the stats. Some say MDB is priority, others say EDB matters more. I just want to know how to evaluate a good willow staff

Have soul fragment drop patterns changed? I recall getting a flat 5 per RE, I've had several I noticed today without a fragment drop. I only really noticed on my latest RE because I only got one drop in total from all mobs - I thought all mobs were guaranteed to drop something on RE. Probably should have screenshotted, but came here to see if this is normal, just unlikely.

I think it's normal, i got 50-60 souls a day from 20-22 RE in a day (max 24 RE a day)...

I actually have a question about the armor selection against monsters. I remember people talking about wearing armors of slaughter for maximum damage output, especially if they have the savage prefix.
I am a power armor user. Which power armors should I focus on wearing if they are not armors of slaughter?
Should I focus on protection or warding armors for power armor?
Does having a mix of the two armors work better? If so, which sections of the outfit should I wear either protection or warding? (Ex: Gauntlets of Warding and Boots of Protection)

common consensuous if protection is better. personally i wouldn't see anything bad in a mix due to how stats are added, like 3 protection + 2 warding. or 2 protection + 2 warding + 1 balance. something like that. should also be better for your wallet. as for which ones, well... depends on what you can find.

Slaughter is always preferred if you play 1H + power, but it's pretty costly so the next best option is protection or warding. Protection is since most enemy use physical attack while warding is because the most dangerous attack that can kill you is usually a high amount of magic damage since power armor naturally have lower magic mitigation, a mix of both might be a good idea. Dampening can be a good choice too since heavy armor is kinda low on crushing mitigation mmm... This post has been edited by VawX: Mar 29 2018, 13:14

There is no power armor of dampening though.

QUOTE(hentailover6983 @ Mar 29 2018, 17:49) --__|__--
From my actual experiences, if you want high speed clearance time, use slaughter (but expensive), and the minus side of slaughter is using too many cures/health draughts and i hate that. So now i'm using 1 protect (2 in near future) + 3 warding (2 in near future) + 1 slaughter and no cure/health draught needed... If you want to use full slaughter you should full forging the whole set to get the best experience in battle (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/faint.gif) Edit : this week's auctions almost have the whole set of slaughter like last 2 weeks This post has been edited by igs88: Mar 29 2018, 15:43

In my experience, LDWD is better than LDKD, mainly because of the CR. But you can still play decently with a katalox. Just slightly slower. I value MDB over EDB in a staff. But if you can afford both, it's even better. You can still play with lower stats staff, just slightly slower.

which makes me wonder: is the total firepower still something like MDB * ( 1 + EDB) ?

It should be. And in most cases base mdb point is more or less same as base edb. For example, if we have 30 base mdb and 86 edb, it gives at 500 level ~12970 magic score. With 30/60 forge its 17485. Now 31 mdb increases to 13065/17656 and 87 edb to 13086/17646. With full 50/100 forge its 19003 and 18983. So usually difference is extremely minor and we can count just sum of mdb+edb in staff for comparison.

1h with force shield pretty much solely uses Rapier of Slaughter. You can probably sell the waki, but it's very bad for 1h.
