Sleep 1 time a start of round
Weaken on the lot
and after floor 60 or so also use silence, silence and slow

Thanks for the advice, i'll try this!

QUOTE(Pretty anon @ Aug 21 2024, 03:39) *

The people who buy those are probably going after proficiency which takes loads and loads and LOADS of grinding at the higher levels, or maybe farming chaos tokens for their monsters. They either have other means of obtaining credits to fuel this goal (H@H, star selling, lucky drops, IW service, etc.) or don't and they just simply don't care, eat the cost and decide the crystals, profs, the tiny consistent profits, tokens and lucky drops are more interesting to obtain. Or they maybe like having their hands busy while doing other stuff so they go with it anyways.

Alright (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) , so i suppose this weekly 1 billion creds volume comes from the hoarders and those mad brave people. Perhaps there is a way to finish a grindfest/IW really fast, but still it's impressive.

I'm a new player and currently playing a 1H style. Should I use this weapon:
EXQUISITE SHOCKING SHORTSWORD OF SLAUGHTER
https://hentaiverse.org/equip/297701366/ce12d2c401
or this weapon:
MAGNIFICENT FIERY WARIZASHI OF SWIFTNESS
https://hentaiverse.org/equip/297702119/e57dc2d1f3?

Also, should I sell one of them on the market or WTS?

Shortsword is generally a better weapon than the other one and it has more damage so i would go with it. Sell what you have to the market unless it's legendary/peerless or a really good magnificent.

shortsword is the best of the 2, best damage.
wakizashi is generally not very good for 1h, better for other melee style. Not enough damage.

yes both are good enoug to sell in a low-level equipment shop.

I just figured out spells and abilities (at level 140). Which spell should I use for auto-cast, and which abilities should I unlock as a one-handed player?

Hello,
I'm trying to optimize my abilities (by using as few Ability points as possible, so that training is not expensive).
For mage builds, can someone confirm whether "SP tank" (increase max SP, up to +100) is completely useless?

I've checked the wiki. In an advice page, I seem to recall reading it was useful for something, Spirit shield I think.

However I looked at the formila for Spirit shield mitigation:
Spirit Damage = Base_SP * SS_AP_Damage * MIN( (Damage - Max_HP * SS_AP_Damage) / (Max_HP * SS_AP_Damage * 3) , 1)
(SS_AP_Damage = percentage of damage required for Spirit shield to kick in)

The damage is relative to the Base SP (Base SP * percentage) so it seems that more base SP with SP tank would be useless, Am I right? Am I missing a use for Mages?

Also, given previous advice, it seems for Melee Builds I would need to upgrade some deprecating spells, which I had not considered (Weaken, slow --or MagNet?--, silence)? What is recommended.

----

@binova25: I'm not an expert, but I can share some tips for 1H.
There are 5 autocast slots. use them all (Protection, Haste, Shadow Veil, Spark of life, Spirit shield)

For your abilities to train, first go there: https://ehwiki.org/wiki/HentaiVerse_Advice#Abilities
Also train all the "better Pots", "better Heartseeker", and one of the "spike Shields" (I don't know if one is a bit better than the others)
This page is also useful: https://ehwiki.org/wiki/HentaiVerse_Advice_...ed#Melee_Builds

for autocast, you can use all you have available at your level if you struggle and die too often. If you play comfortable, only do spark of life, protection and spirit shield when those are available.
Abilities: quite useful to invest in those early on. I recommend weaken, sleep (mind control) and imperil. Those will enable you to play at IWBTH or even PFUDOR (well, maybe not at your level yet). Playing at higher difficulty gives a lot more rewards: more credits, far better equipment, more income, more EXP. In any case, normal difficulty is really bad, try at least hell.

the perk: Suffusive Spirit Increases your base spirit by 10%. -> that's completely useless. Don't get that.
The abilities are useful for every build
"Increases your maximum SP. This adds 10% to your total SP per tier." So not the base, but the max.
magnet is not a priority. weaken is top priority, and silence and slow can be added if you still need more defense. I do like those very much in isekai, but I rarely need them in arenas.

It's best to install HVUtils script -> abilities -> ability calculator.
U can chose your fav play style and it'll show you how many points you need to train for current level and which abilities you need to choose from

People say you need like 20-30 million credits worth of items/forging just to begin as an elemental mage. What does that look like? Do you buy a bunch of legendary equipment with the best prefixes? Do you spend it on upgrading phase armor to high levels (cuz phazons are 220k)?

Nezu's guide has you covered

Just read around what kind of cloth pieces and staff you need to get, search around shops and be vigilant in auctions. Most of it will go towards decent base pieces with the right prefixes as you say, upgrading your prof as high as you can and getting as many EDB/MDB upgrades as you can with the rest of your money.

Phazons are indeed the most expensive bit of upgrading your non prof pieces, but the cost of high grade cloth also adds up.

I use imperil while using the rapier.
Maybe it is needless?

Salvage calculates credit return if you salvage a piece and sell the materials. Magnificent cloth gives 1 hgc when you salvage it, which currently is 6750c on the market. 6000 is a default value for it, its generally a good estimate, but you can update it yourself by clicking materials prices button.

Does someone know if the xp bonus of rested (x2 when >60 stamina) stays on for the arena even if the stamina goes under 60 while in it?

if you enter the battle in x1 stamina, then it will stay in x1 until you exit the battle no matter how long you stay in battle

you sure about that what_is_name? Back when I was grinding for EXP, I used to go into IW just below 60 stamina. IW charges the stamina upfront so after entering I'd paid all stamina costs. Then I took an Energy Drink in battle, and ended up with full double EXP for that IW. That means you can change from 'normal stamina'(1x EXP) to'excellent' stamina (2x EXP) during battle. I would expect that it would then be possible to go from 2x EPX to 1x EXP during battle as well.

If that has changed, I missed that update?

I believe the EXP bonus from stamina is determined when you get the EXP (so each round). You can start above 60 and drop below 60 during an arena (or GF) run and the EXP you earn will change appropriately; same if you use an ED in battle. (I see this a lot because I only use EDs in battle since I like collecting Caffeinated Candy.)

sorry, I means that you will not auto recovery stamina by time in battle until you exit the battle. I think somewhere should have mention this in wiki, and I used to stay in battle for few days, it keep in same x1 exp rate in battle, it show 99 stamina when I finish the battle

you probably already considered this but you can "store" caffeinated candy in the market by "selling" them all at a stupidly high price. That way you can use your EDs normally. I tried it a long time ago but I don't think that has changed in any way.

I want to know what if my RiddleMaster's answers accuracy are too low and my Stamina drains too fast (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

Can I offset the rapid Stamina drain by constantly answering correctly

I have received a Blessing of the RiddleMaster for my recent answers, does that mean I got them right? But it still tells me that the rate of accuracy is very low.

I currently consume an estimated 0.1 Stamina per battle, which is three times more than the normal 0.03. Is there a solution
